FYI Kumo ( South African Boerboel ) was sent to Rainbow Bride this morning. After months and months of Vet checks and Chiropractors and Xrays. Results this Morning, Confirmed Kumo had Wobblers Syndrome. RIP Boofer. Ashley...

Thank you everyone for your tips and advice. The more I research Wobblers, the more I think that is what my boy has. It describes him to a tee. He has wobbled when he walks ever since he was about 4 months old, and now the last 2 months is dragging his front feet, so much he has worn down his nail so much so that his feet bleed. When ever I feed him he spins around in a circle and falls over. He also appears to be drunk sometimes. All tell tale sighns of Wobblers. ;) I will get him to a specialist in the next day or 2. Caslero - Kumo is a South African Boerboel.. Regards Ashley...

Thanks for the replies. I went to see George yesterday. After a while of examination, he turned around and said sorry, but I can't find out what is wrong with him. I can tell there is something wrong with him, buy the way he is walking. But I cannot find what it is. The only thing that he kept saying was, Looks alot like Wobblers Syndrome So he has given me a few names to contact, and I will ask around. So next question, has anyone here had a dog that has suffered from Wobblers. Thanks Take Care Ashley...

WOW 21 kg for 14 weeks My boerboel puppy weighed 22 kg @ 14 weeks. I started feeding him Advance Growth and he was putting on 4 kg a week. So I quickly changed him over to Eukanuba ( sp ) Puppy. And he dropped to gaining just on 1 kg a week. I have kept him as lean as I could, because I have been concerned with his hips. You can see his rib cage, but he is not all bone. mmmm -- As for how much is enough and how little is not enough. Prob a bit hard to give amounts, but if you are feeding dry, just go by the directions. But I am sure you will know, just by knowing your dog.. Good Luck and Take Care. Ashley...

I feed both dogs 2 times a day. Same as Anne, I have 2 large dogs, and prefer to feed 2 small meals not 1 large meal. 5-00 am and 6 pm The only thing I will change, is I feed a Chicken Carcass 30 mins before their evening meal, think I will start feeding with morning meal, so as more time to digest.
