OH used to believe dogs were outside animals... until we got Shyla! He cuddles with her on the bed and I often turn around while putting my make up on in the ensuite to seeing them having a cuddle sesh on the bed, with Shyla lying where I would be, with her head on my pillow. hey poodlefan we already did our research before we got jet and there is nothing to worry about as we only take him around the block which takes no more than 10 minutes and we feel that is enough for him until he gets bigger. It's more to get him used to the lead and it helps him with his training for loose leash walking and also to exert some of his energy. The rest of his energy is spent playing and training in the backyard. You must have a smaller block than mine! My block takes 15+ minutes at a steady walk, and I didn't take my german shepherd puppy around the whole block til 5 or 6 months old, I literally kept the walks very VERY short, just down the road a bit and back

How do you fix a barking/howling dog problem without bringing the dogs indoors? Just curious cos my girl is indoors only when I'm out, I don't know what I'd do if she was a barker and I still had to keep her outdoors

I have a query for distributors or those with knowledge on this food!! Just bought a 20kg bag of the lamb and rice holistic adult and there was 2 types of 20kg bags my local feed guy was selling. One had wheat flour and wheat products as the first ingredient. The other bag (the one I got) doesn't have wheat flour or wheat mentioned. What's the difference? Both labels said chicken and rice! Glad I looked and got the one with identical ingredients to this: Lamb Meal, Ground Brown Rice, Ground Oats, Rice Bran, Flaxseed, Chicken Fat (preserved with Mixed Tocopherols and Ascorbyl Palmitate), Brewers Dried Yeast, Lecithin, Natural Lamb Flavour, Dried Carrots, Dried Kelp, Choline Chloride, Calcium Ascorbate (source of Vitamin C), Zinc Amino Acid Chelate, Yucca Schidigera Extract, Dried Blueberries, Dandelion, Peppermint, Rosemary. A friend of mine was confused as to why I hate pet shops so much, especially Pets Paradise, and I explained why. She was like "Oh no, the one near us is fine, they have a big sign that says so! It says "WE DO NOT SUPPORT PUPPY MILLS" *sigh* As if they don't. Responsible ethical breeders don't suppy to pet shops, puppy farms and backyard breeders do. So none of these puppies are being sold for the right reasons or have come from a place where they are raised for the right reasons. It angers me soo much that they can put these signs up now and the general public who don't know much about the whole issue think they are safe to buy from now. Grr.
