  1. Can you make it to Kepala in March, we can have a join B'day party for the girls. I should be able to buy Shy will have to stay on leash!
  2. Happy Birthday darling Bronte!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D  Hope to see you guys soon sometime! It's been a while! Shy celebrates her birthday in 4 days they are birthday buddies hehe
  3. Interesting! Although i would think we would need to be more hairy to set off a reaction? Not that I know anything
  4. Remorseful my a$$, I wish he could be made to rot in a burning grave hole
  5. I've also wondered about the Kong dispenser! Shy is home alone for 9hrs 2 or 3 days a week. Whats a bob a lot thing?
  6. Is that 12 hours without a toilet break GR? The house before last they were shut in all day, sometimes over 10 hours, and seemed fine, but I worry that its too long. Though I guess they hold overnight with no dramas. Thanks about my cottage Shelle that's a good idea about the break, unfortunately I've only just moved to the area so it will be a little while til I find someone close by who I know well enough to trust with that job, but I will keep that in mind. If they are well behaved inside anyway and used to not having someone come halfway through I'm sure they will be fine
  7. WOW what a story!! And beautiful mum and baby too, all the best :D
  8. Agree Nothing wrong with having dogs indoors IF they are happy with that situation! It's safer, it's less worry for you when you are away, neighbors aren't potentially getting angry at you, they can't dig our or escape, can't get poisoned, can't get stung by wasps etc. The only thing I think though is that if they are indoors all day up to 8hrs or more I highly recommend getting a family member, neighbor or dog walker to come at lunchtime to give them a toilet break and a bit of playtime. Breaks up the day into two blocks that way!
  9. Even lambs heart?? I bought a fresh tray of 4 today.. sooo chunky lol, they smell a bit tho
  10. Yep!!! Soo True Shyla hates kidney and liver, but LOVES lamb heart, she eats it first before the accompanying lamb flap or chicken frame
  11. It sounds like he is a good vet if you've been happy with his service over the years, is he an older person? Sometimes the longer they have been in an industry and been doing and believing things for so long, they get set in their ways .. so maybe after years of doing vaccinations every year he thinks the whole titre testing and 3yearly idea is a whole lotta 'hullapaloosa' and 'hogwash' and can't be bothered with it, and so doesn't suggest it or accept it as an option. I say yes print off some info for him definitely
  12. More and more reasons why I like the fact that I have Shyla inside when I am away! Too many idiots around Also more and more reason why I want a bigger property next time so I don't have neighboring properties smooshed right up against my fences which are close to my house
  13. Shyla has yellow poos on and off lately, it seemed to have started since she was on (and is currently on again) anti inflammatory tablets. She also gets raw meaty bones every night, so I think a combination of those or just the bones or something may be the cause.. the poops are totally firm and normal so I wasn't that worried, and mostly they are not yellow, just randomly
  14. I've been to the one in Somerville and it's pretty good, I would recommend it :D Nope I have been highly recommended the Somerville one but after working in Frankston for 3yrs (just finished there not long ago) I hate driving that way and Somerville looks even further oh well I think I'll make the trip, Doveton is a big closer too.
  15. I want to take Shyla to a place that has an underwater treadmill, or with someone who can help us with swimming her (shes never swum before) in a controlled environment. Anyone know of places close to Rowville or surrounding areas? I was told of a good place in Somerville but if I can find one closer first it would be better ;)
  16. Wow good doggies, I really do wonder what Shyla would do in that situation! I know she usually looks at me in new situations to guage how I am feeling and she responds accordingly, so I am sure if I was stiff and seemed frightened she would not welcome someone like that either!
  17. Every month Shyla finds our bathroom bin very interesting because there are pre loved / used sanitary pads in there.. let's just say i have often seen her run past me with a flash of white.. and upon closer inspection I see the used item on the grass outside!!
