  1. So glad to hear May has improved since Monday. Thank you so much for giving her a second chance when many others would of turned a blind eye. You made a commitment when you decided to rescue her and stuck by it - even though she was/is ill. That is so noble of you. And dogs know - they arent silly - thats why she loves you so and has formed a bond with you - she will be forever grateful to you for not letting her spend her final days in a pound, on a cold, wet, concrete floor - left to die in the hands of a stranger. She will not die now, with a broken heart - instead she will feel loved and special to the very end whether it be days or years away..... "Thank-you", because I am sure if she could say it - she would.
  2. ditto Same. I have butterflies waiting...... ;)
  3. I had a husky for 6 yrs with same symptoms. Cassie. Took her to the vet, she was depressed and off food. I thought she was bloated due to drinking too much. We thought diabetes maybe. They did a PVC on her and found her belly to be full of blood. The vet suspected a tumour on the spleen also and feared she would have it on her liver. She did. All through her body, she was slowly bleeding to death. I had to have her PTS on the operating table, it was the hardest decision Ive ever had to make and it still haunts me. They said the cancer was through her whole abdomen, never in a million years did I expect to take my dog to the vet and bring her home in an urn. ;) she was only 6 - I had her from the day she was born to the day she died. When I first saw May and saw her belly, Cassie was the first thing that came to mind, I just hope its not as serious and she recovers.
