That puppy farmer they had on made me sick. She was so arrogant. When the reporter says something to her about the dogs being a domesticated animal, her reply was something along the lines of "Yeah, so what. We are domesticated and we get sent to jail".

k9angel replied to Jodie Elijah's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
I found a Hank beaglesaurus lookalike. PCC741 at Hawkeskbury pound. Listed as beagle x cattle 4yr old desexed male. I think he has a name so hopefully will be adopted. -

I thought I was ok... but every now and then I just feel awful and break down completely. Thank you for your kind thoughts. It makes it better to know others (who I don't even know) care just that little bit. Sonia I know the feeling and feel your pain. Some days are better than others. Just when you think you are starting to feel better, you see something or hear something, or even just smell something that reminds you of them and that's it.. the memories come back and the tears flow. Hope today was a better day for you.

Tried to PM you but your inbox is full Vicdrg. There is a husky rescue in NSW and Vic. Not sure of the Vic contact but can PM you the Herba's details (in NSW) if you like. (there was a thread here somewhere with their details too). I also take them on, sibes I mean - when I can. Hope this helps. ETA. Ctc details for the Herba's [email protected] Tel. (02) 6236-6404.

Great to hear he is feeling better today.

Reading your post has made me all teary. I know exactly what you mean. My old girl used to do the same. When I did the meat run of a Saturday, she'd be waiting anxiously to see what goodies I'd bring home. She'd smell the boxes and hang around while I cut and bagged the meat. Tonight OH bought some pig ears home from the shops. They were her favourites. All I could think about was Gyps and how she'd be hanging about for her share. It's heartbreaking isn't it? Hugs to you and hoping tommorow is a better day.

Hope he's ok. Sending healing vibes and hoping it is just an upset tummy and nothing more.

So sorry to hear of your loss luvspugs. I recently lost my almost 12 yr old sibe girl. She was also the alpha dog. My other dogs including rescues fretted quiet badly. Jasmine (a foster failure close to 10 yrs old) went off her food and was even quieter than her usual self. She slept on the bed most of the time. Logan, a rescue who has been in care several months was very fond of Gypsy and howled like mad when she died. Did so for 2 - 3 weeks afterwards, day and night on and off and also went off his food for close to a week. Blacky also did a bit of howling, as did the others. Luki was very confused and would look for her. He is also a foster failure, been here since a bub - survived death and parvo and became a part of our family. He really looked up to Gyps. She was like a Mum to him. It's horrible to see them so sad. Hugs to you both.

Hope little Jakey picks up again soon. Hugs to you both and thanks for keeping us updated A. -
Is she desexed? I wonder if she is possibly experiencing a phantom pregnancy? Maybe she wants to get outside to find somewhere to nest?? I've seen it before. They are truly convinced they are in pup, some even show physical signs of being pregnant and get milk. They can become very anxious and restless as they try desperately to find a quiet place to hide and nest. Just a thought. (if she's not already desexed or recently desexed).

Unable To Keep Dog Thats Under A Contract
k9angel replied to pinkpuppy's topic in General Dog Discussion
I cannot believe this thread. I feel really sad for the dog in question. Please do the right thing by her and give her back to the breeder. You obviously don't have the time nor patience for her. It sounds like you're more worried about what your neighbours think than the welfare and wellbeing of your girl. Maybe if you had of done more with her she wouldn't be barking and destroying your garden and annoying your neighbours. You also come across as being quiet money hungry. Sorry but just telling it as I see it. And I think that's really sad. Put her first and give her a chance in a home with someone who has the time, patience, love and experience to give her, because you clearly don't. And you say you're a breeder? -
I am so so sorry Jessca. I am sitting here crying for you and Kaiser right now. Hugs to you. You did your very best and some. R.I.P. Kaiser Run free now boy.
