  1. I use Virbac septicide/antiseptic cream for my sibes. It's fantastic and works wonders.
  2. Jack was calling him Kane earlier. (after the wrestler).
  3. Hi Guys, I'd just like to introduce the newest foster to join our family. His name is "Boy" (I didn't name him, it's on his chip), he was surrended to the pound a few days ago as his owners were moving into a flat. He is about 8 months old. Not much older than my own sibe girl, Takoda, so hopefully they'll become good friends whilst he is in care. I took Jasmine out to meet him at the pound. The meet and greet went extremely well, so I bought him home. Being a surrender his time was limited and no dog should be in a pound letalone a sibe pup. So far, so good. He is just having some chicken wings and has been for a dip in the clam pool already. (it's scorching hot here again today )He wasn't sure of it at first and looked at it like "Wow, a giant water bowl". But he soon got the idea and once he was in, there was no stopping him. :)
  4. Awww they're too cute T. It's clear to see they love their grub, just look at Jacks belly. Adorable..
  5. Jasmine turns 9 on Sunday! She is doing great. She has come out of her shell so much since we got her. She plays with the other dogs now, barks and even goes in the clam pool. I am really proud of her. Her and Jack are still as thick as thieves. She is so excited when he gets in from school in the afternoon, as is he to see her. In the mornings before he leaves, he often cuddles up with her on the bed telling her goodbye and to be good until he gets home. It's so cute. Some pics taken in the last few days. :)
  6. While I am updating, I thought I would do one for Alaska aswell. Yes Alaska is still with us. :) I have had a couple of enquiries for her but they have not been suitable. One had cats and the other sounded like a real no hoper. He couldn't make up his mind if he lost his dog a week ago or several weeks ago. One minute it was a he, then a she... it was one lie after the other. Anyways, she is doing really well. She's happy and content and in no rush to leave. :) Some pics I have taken the last couple of days. Yesterday after a hose down.
  7. A quick update & some recent pics of Logan. Taken yesterday & the day before. :) He is doing really well. He is the sweetest boy. He loves his cuddles and just adores the kids. :) He also loves his walks and loves to play! oh and as the pics show, loves the clam pool. Pair of posers.
  8. It's been a little while since I updated here, so here I am. :) Luki is 2 years old now how time flies... it feels like only yesterday we bought him home as a sickly little pup. Now look at him! He's grown into a gorgeous boy and is dearly loved by us all. He is gentle, funny and very smart and as an added bonus, he's also a fantastic guard dog. Here are a couple of pics I took today. :) (please excuse the cream stained ears. Seems to be a trademark of my dogs. Seriously though, it stops the flies and saves their ears and that's all that matters ;) ).
  9. Wow! incredible shots. I love the one of the spaniel with his eye's wide open looking under the water.
  10. Yes they have Pers and way too fast for my liking... Here is a pic of Jack taken today after school and after his dip in the clam pool. It was so hot here today. No doubt I will get some more pics of the kids (skin and fur) over the weekend. :) Oh and there are some recent one's here too - the day he started school. :) http://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/233214-starting-kindy/page__p__5698887__hl__kindy__fromsearch__1#entry5698887
  11. Thanks Snook and yes I am having so much fun getting to know it!
  12. Thankyou, yes I have been having heaps of fun with it. :) And no, Loges doesn't always have the choker on. I just put it on him when I walk him and when I move him from the front side run to the back yard. :) Speaking of the devil, here are some pics I took today.
  13. How scary! Keeping everything crossed for your gorgeous boy.
  14. My thoughts are with you at this sad time BBL. So sorry. R.I.P. Morgan
  15. So true and this my first thought too. I started a thread in the cruelty section earlier today. But the link I posted didn't have as much info as the one the OP posted. I read alot of true crime books and many of these perpetrators start out torturing animals before moving to people.... I wonder how many other's he has tortured and killed prior to being caught?? R.I.P. to the lives he so cruelly took.
  16. I have tears streaming down my cheeks. I am so sorry Caz. Hugs to you and Leah and the furkids. No words seem enough to thank you for what you did for Tammy. You gave and showed her love that she'd never felt before and most importantly, you showed her happiness - right until the end. I have no doubt she will be waiting for you on the other side. R.I.P. Beautiful Tammy Run young and free again girl. xxx
  17. Yeah he is definitely a cross - not sure what with but he is way to big to be a stafford. He is a big cuddle bum, he loves to sleep on you or as close as possible... Thanks all, he is pretty special to us... Oh ok, well in that case he is crossed with a giant cuddlebear.
  18. He's beautiful Staffyluv. Is he even crossed? Most pounds put everything as a X. If he is crossed, I say he's a staffy x cuddlebear. ;)
  19. http://au.news.yahoo.com/latest/a/-/latest/12977353/teen-accused-of-killing-dogs/ A Canberra teenager has been accused of setting dogs on fire and dismembering them. Police arrested the 16-year-old boy yesterday after a search of his house. They allege he killed at least three dogs. The remains of three dogs were found in vacant block in Canberra's north yesterday afternoon. The boy has been charged with aggravated cruelty to an animal causing death. He is expected to face the ACT Children's Court today Absolutely sickening. What is the world coming to? Sad thing is, this kid will more than likely get off with a slap on the wrist. Who know's what he'll be capable of when he's older... R.I.P. to the poor dogs he killed. xxx
