  1. I looked him up last night and he is a Delias Nigrina aka a Black jezebel or common jezabel. Some info on him here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delias_nigrina He is found along the Eastern seaboard of Aust. From Qld through NSW to Vic. :)
  2. Awww... I think that's part of the reason I wouldn't be able to drop them off. I'd be bawling all the way home. And it's only natural you'll miss her. You done a wonderful job with Pip Staffyluv. I am sure she'll be just fine.
  3. Managed to catch this pretty butterfly today. Not the best pics but I thought I'd share anyways as it was a pretty butterfly. :) And a closer up view.
  4. I agree 100%. Ella is doing an awesome job with these boys. They had such a sad and sorry look in their eye's when they arrived. Now their eye's show hope. They wouldn't know themselves getting all this love and care. :)
  5. Sorry Colliehound. I meant to reply yesterday. Here is a link with some free doggy recipes. :) http://www.bullwrinkle.com/Assets/Recipes/Recipes.htm
  6. When does she leave Staffyluv? I am sure she'll be fine. If not, she always has you guys to come back to. I believe what's meant to be, will be. :)
  7. Same. ETA And I agree about them looking better, they seem to be improving by the day. Even their eye's look brighter and happier.
  8. Awww. I am sure they'll love her as much as you's do Staffyluv. :) It's never easy saying goodbye. Especially when they've been living as one of your own family. Admittedly I sometimes feel guilty letting them go. Especially the one's I have become really attached to and have formed an extra close bond with. I can't help it. I think to myself I have welcomed them into my heart & home. Gained their trust and their friendship. Many are probably happier in the short time they spend here, than they've ever been in their lives. I just wonder what goes through their head sometimes as they're walking out the gate for the last time. But then, I get happy updates as they are settling in and I realise I have done the best thing in letting them go. They usually settle straight into their new homes, like they've always been there. :) I am sure whatever you decide, will be right for Pippa. :)
  9. YAY!!!! So so happy she's been found. :cheer: How is she? and where was she found? Is she back with you guys? she was found by our volunteer driver who joined the search today. On a rangers advice she was found near bronte??? caught then brought straight dow to us.I called her rescuer in the NT who broke down with relief and joy.Clara is fine she walked in the gate tail wagging greeted everyone was jumped all over by the puppies had a drink enjoyed all the fuss then laid down on a blanket on the front porch and went to sleep. Hubby asked claras rescuer if it was alright that Clara live with us so it looks like we have a new member to our pack but I guess clara chose us and she made sure we knew it Aww that's wonderful news Muttrus. She was not only found, but found her forever home in the process.
  10. Poor little buggar. Hope someone can help him.

  12. Poor babies. Thank God they were found when they were but how sad they had to endure that to begin with. I hope they recover well and find the happy, loving homes they all deserve. As for the lowlife who did this to them. I just hope she get's what she deserves and some. ETA spelling
  13. That's what I was thinking too Dog Mad. I really feel for this girl and hope she's ok. I can't believe they'd bring home a new dog, especially one that has had an abusive past - and just leave her outside like that alone on the first night. Thats what we questioned them .There is so much now going through our heads hubby said he doesn"t think she got out but are covering something up? I don"t know I think the worry is getting to us and we are thinking all sorts of things.Hubby did say when he went and looked around their house to see if clara was hiding underit he said there was one part they wouldn"t let him look ----He could be reading too much into it ?? too much time has passed now and things just aren"t adding up Im sure many of you think things after adoption I know I do then when I get that update photo phone call email etc its a good feeling mind you I only feel funny after they leave and Im waving goodbye I guess a bit silly really but we can"t always control the way we feel Try not to think the worst Muttrus. I know it's easier said than done but try and stay positive for Clara. Did hubby get a chance to talk with their neighbours? maybe they saw or heard something? or maybe she's hiding up under one of their houses? I'd be printing up lots and lots of 'lost posters' and putting them up everywhere around the area she went missing. Have you contacted Petsearch? and maybe put a lost ad up on Gumtree too. You never know... C'mon Clara, come home girl. :crossfingers:

  15. Love the pics guys! I did try again but w/o success. With the naked eye I could see all the craters and things, but just couldn't focus in on them with the camera. I'll figure it out eventually...
  16. You beat me to it Powerlegs. I was about to upload the pics here too. She's a gorgeous girl. Hoping she is found soon. It's a horrible feeling not knowing where they are. Hopefully someone's picked her up and holding onto her until they can get her to a vet.
  17. I have tried but mine didn't work out too well. (still a learner) I was going to start a thread asking for help with the manual settings but ended up doing some googling and reading a bit of the manual that came with the camera. I will try again shortly.
  18. They are looking so much better already. I know they still have a way to go but the difference is already quiet noticeable.
