lol Tobes is injured and that combined with his happy desire to play endlessly with the kids has meant he is in the backyard in a 2mt x 2 mt pen. He is restricted inside and out and is only allowed small onlead stretches out front. No showing or show training no going to school to get the kids. No travelling with me in general except to the vet apts. Just had a look from him that made me think if he could speak right now I'd probably have to wash out his mouth........ one peed off puppy! any ideas to beat the boredom. The kong is coming out he has a tug jug but HATES it - its too big. he has chews and toys on rotation. He gets every empty toilet roll to shred (his fave - he follows people in in the hope they use the last of the loo paper ;) ) He is a 12month old toy breed. cheers Bec

My cat was attacked in our yard by three GSDs was only out 15mins and I was there ;) at 18yrs old , fractured her hips - she lived to 23 yrs old on monthly cartrophen injections. We knew it made her feel better as she woke up the next morning and swipped the dog (she was the pack leader :D ) Recently my pup hurt his knee and we were given some SB. I thought the food was off it was fine put my nose in the sachet and OMG! I am a nurse whos speaciality is gastroenterology not much has made me bat an eyelid in 10yrs but that had me dry retching

wow a special post for a truley special pug. Didnt get to meet you sadly little gherk but even though you didnt get to the shows so far the stories of you did! Kristy - its one of the hardest things to some here and post for your furkid, I know, but that was gorgeous. Made me laugh and cry at the same time. Run free little pugger - find soph and the others! Bit hesitant entering the brat in too much at the moment. No one will play fetch with him so he has taken to playing it with himself...............he is truely a boy keeping him quiet is HARD. The kids know they cant chase him so HE chases the kids. If le brat wasnt injured we would be there with bells on so far my only current entry is stroud. Most people said he looked okay at hillsborough and I was happy with his RUBOB and RCC. I am so missing out! Someone better send me updates via sms!

okay just to clear up a few things.................. they most certainly DO bite Poor sparky the aussie is the "tag along" - hes awesome and deserves a title all of his own! or at least some treats!! said gazebo and tent will be setup by sammy ballerinas mum while she sits or texts or both!! one of the pugs is the worlds cutest baby pug ever! :D ;) ;) ...............they are however worth finding and saying hi..........

I have seen the hide em ones too. We have a hunt but the easter bunny is very thoughtful and leaves a list of what is hidden where and the hunt eggs are small eggs hidden inside reusable plastic eggs. We use the same plastic ones every year filled with a few solid little ones and taped shut. The dog is also in the puppy pen till its over. You can get the plastic fillable hunt eggs $2 for a pack of six at toys r us.

Thankyou deb. I'm quite sure we would be having as much fun without our friends!!! Flik has always been willing to help the newbie :D she very gently pushed encouraged me into the showing ring. ;) I am so glad she did Congratulations, Bec and Rich & Toby! I think the trust has been well-earned as you have done a great job with your boy so far. ;) You should be very proud!

gonna send off toby's paperwork tomorrow so excited Toby was co-owned with his breeder for breeding but as a surprise gift for doing well with him they have signed toby 100% over to us ;) I think the greater compliment was the thought behind it when she said she trusts us to do right by our dog but more importantly the breed ! Our boy is now really our boy - although his breeder will always call herself grandma LOL :rofl: HUGE to flik and andrew for your trust and encouragement!!

toby is from gladstone i'll check with his breeder also a doler and see if she is going

we're all a bit disspointed but hey thats showing I guess Tobes is the priority. I'll be there in gazebo so there will be extra shade for you jess if you can put up with skin kids!!

only occaisionally limping so better. aparently has walked fine all day till he tried to nick off with some of alexs undies!!! hes not on complete rest - small stretch on lead is ok but I dont think I'll show him tomorrow even though the vet said ok. apart from not being 100% I'd have to groom him and really I would be showing and grooming him for me only - and that isnt fair. We will have to be patient and wait for those last few elusive points. Better to have my boy 100 percent than risk delaying his recovery. I dont want him to get his title going round the ring under par would anybody like to come and tell him he is injured though he doesnt seem to get the concept He stood like a rock on the table at the vet and the vet commented how good he was and how he doesnt give much away. I thought later how useful all his ring and crate training has been standing still and rock solid in a stack to be examined despite being injured and opens his mouth for his medicine so well are all the others read for the ring??

I know Poor rich feels terrible but it really was bad timing. they werent being overly rough and toby loves to play.

So I will be there on the weekend showing or not sometime with some friends sounds good. Only ash if tobes isnt there I BAGS holding cluesau's lead ;) Puppy kisses will cheer me up plus I have miss kites birthday pressie!!

johnny sent us to the vet Vet says not to panic he is on anti-inflamatories as he thinks its more muscular and soft tissue. If no better an exam and xray under sedation next week. I doubt we'll be showing on sat but the vet said dont write him off yet CROSS EVERYTHING YA HAVE FOR HIM!! Tarps are down only reverse our spots ash in case we dont stay/show. Deb in the middle again :D Jess I'll be there in our space for the morning regaurdless if we show or not so bunk with us if you wish. If anyone raises their eyebrows at him we teach him to splat down flat and call him my new exotic floor rug - its not like he moves Alex (4yr old skin kid) is lame too with a swollen knee on ab's for a chest infection which hubby and I now have and two funerals this week. Tobe has a long flowing predonminatley white coat ;) I couldnt survive without my trolley its also provides a nice dry way for him to travel to the marshalling area and something to groom him on immeadiately prior to entering the ring. Although the messy brat that he is after one shake I may as well have not brushed him at all! Its also the gazebo coffee table and my sons cool cubby that he hide out in with his four legged best mate I have seen dotty's conversion though very good idea!!
