We are in a similar boat only we are looking for a car for hubby. I drive a 08 forester and you most certainly can get a cargo barrier - check the website for subaru Vivas are a rebadged (daewoo??) other brand and have NO guts no get up and go at all. We looked at one when I got my subaru. I lOVE my subaru We are currently looking at the holden wagon. We show and with only two small toy dogs it seemed overkill to get a trailer (although not ruling it out) but we also have two kids and the commodore wagon is leading the way. (off to check out the advetura )

my sparky wouldnt do that clearly it was her she looks as guilty as i that pic!! Poor sparky was probably sleeping on it quietly when she snuck up on him and ruined it and woke him.

For training (obedience) with toby he had a solid sit but not a solid stand so I spoke to the instructor prior. Basically we did sit for the bit we had to infront of everyone but when we were all in a line I taught stand while the others practised sit. The instructor and I both knew he had a solid sit anyway LOL I was also told to make it incidental and fun. So basically I would pick him up and stack him and lure into a stand and treat at random intervals (this involved handfull of treats in pockets daily ) Toby is a tabled breed so anytable seat ect was an oportunity LOL Teamsnag may I ask where thos ones are from??

slightly OT but you guys need to print this kind of stuff off into an australian beginners show book! something with a little sense of humor thrown in would be awesome........BMP sounds like something for you when I was contemplating showing this is what I looked for but couldnt find out there. I was so nervous the judge had to tell me to stop so he could poop judge commented "bet he walks better now" with a hearty laugh -thankdog the judge was awesome and chatty and relaxed me

anyone training tomorrow night?? the spaz will be there lebrat is staying at home. Poor little fella thankdog he has a great temperament just spent 2 and half hours on the grooming table (new baby puppy and coat change ) during which he had an occaisional ouch sound and the rest of the time he layed there. What did he do after???? jump in my arms for kisses and a hug such a good boy.....me thinks I wont be quite so lucky with the spaz although she is getting used to grooming methinks like all girls she will hold a grudge

yay thats awesome news was talking to my sis in law today planning a meal for next week and it had to be around showing LOL but she said we all seem to be having a great time with friends at shows and the dogs We love it!! hope you will make it newcastle way to say hi!!! what breed???????? how exciting!!

Hi guys, was after some recomendations for scissors from those more experienced. I have 2 show Havanese and need a decent set for trimming feet. Can anyone recommend a decent brand?? Not tooo exxy would be good since we just paid for the new addition LOL But its kind of hard to tell from the adds which are ok when you have nothing to do with grooming outside your own dogs. Hey CW we got our first pups around the same time and last week we welcomed our second dog into the house........a girl ;) now let me warn you ITS TRUE they call female dogs bitches for a reason. Poor Toby was whipped in the first 24 hours. She is BOSS no question what she hasnt stolen from him he has GIVEN her!!! That said he loves her to pieces and she loves him. In one week they are inseparable. Loads of fun Its energy squared not doubled :D I agree though a breeder you click with is important. I am still in contact with Tobys breeder a few times a week and consider her a friend, and I clicked with Jazz's breeder who is an amazing wealth of knowledge and mentor! looking forward to some new happy pics of your baby with charlie bec

Ive gone late before as one go round is better than none. Yep no matter what the habit or bad behaviour of the week nikki has always found a strategy that works. Like what I was doing to him on the table as soon as she told me it was a lightbulb moment. I swear he will be in veterans class and I will STILL be going to training with him :D Bwoken - i think not! sparky was ready for brace I want to steal him and do obedience with him :cool: I need a I sparky tshirt. Funny moment of the night was janelle and I with the toy toy dogs on the ground - look back and there is a sooky pointer and aussie that have been picked up off the cold wet grass!! nice tough dogs!

Toby had so much fun but he came home exhausted!! Poor baby LOL
