Just a little update so those who help know they didnt waste their time. Late arvo walks and pork Dr B's barf patties 4 nights a week are all helping. I am still to get goats milk and whey powder. Will weigh him in the next few days but he does feel a little less ribbby. He is shiney and lovely and he is accepting that some nights kibble is all you get and his appetite and interest in food have increased ALOT. necks are back on the menu once a week too......................................................... ......... only once eency weency lil problem....I now have to check the babys portions ;) she could be a little MORE ribby :D she isnt overweight yet but me thinks she will need closer watching :D Anyways - THANKS guys much appreciated

ooohhh this sounds awesome !! so much easier on the subject of baby puppies my new babys rego wasnt quite through and I was in a quandry so rang the sec. who was AWESOME and told me to enter her - knowing that if i didnt ring her number through by x date she wouldnt be eligilbe - fair enough - that sec rang me 2 days before this and the number had arrived about 45 mins prior to that which was a bit freaky I am still pretty new to all this so i was stoked! I am guilty if a few late entries of late tho I do ring to check prior to sending and never expect it to be ok. HUbby sent some off by accident that I thought too late so I rang the sec - got his lovely wife - who said no dramas and laughed as I was ringing to apologise for them being sent as I felt it too late and rude for them to just be sent off ;) Can I ask why more clubs dont use oz entries? From an exibitors perspective I find it great but there just are many shows/clubs that use it?????? bec

if you really cant afford a crate at least try bunnings for a compost cage thingy (its 4 metal meshed panels) $25 cable ties are $2 a packet and clips for one side. Turn this into a crate in your room and a cheap cot mattress protector can go on the floor and is washed and reused easily. pop puppys bed into this with some toys and treat it like the crate. Our have these for day but in our room have real crates, Our baby is using a $30 reject shop pet carrier one but shes a toy breed and will be getting her real one soon. Ours too have always been easily settled as they are in our room Bec

we use puppy pens and are back to getting Jazz our new baby loving hers the same way our toby does. We make it a game I close the pen and place safe treats and dry kibble under the bedding (we use the old cot sheets ect so there are layers) they also have a pp style hard crate without the door in their pens. so place a treat on it. Little bits of soft puppy liver treats ect a kong a few bits of kibble in the treat ball just had to "hide" them for the challenge as well as some easy ones!. Toby would salivate at the gate until popped him in before leaving. Now as I do this to Jazz' pen he puts himself in his pen waiting for the game to start LOL He used to be sooooo busy looking and scrounging for his treats he completely ignored me leaving. We phased it out with less and less treats after he was used to it. Might be worth a shot.

Ok sammyb is being mean and wont tell me what shows she is doing!! I dont think she wants to sit with me anymore ........................... so what have you guys entered since we all have to travel away from home for shows? Gunnedah 3rd and 4th?? Morriset 25th? Gail - he runs like a madman with Jazz!! and yep been walking in the arvos he goes with charlotte and i get the impulsive naughty baby! Right or wrong I have gone back to sme bad habits. He is having barf patties at night and then for breakfast lunch and dinner the dry food in the treat ball. it isnt ideal that he is eating from the treat ball but I did get some enthusiasm and he ate alot more today - he also entertained the puppy LOL Whey powder you say PF - does howies headfall shimmer and shine now? Seriously just they whey powder from the health food shop and what kind of dose? I will admit I cant look at nutrigel without thinking of my sophie in the last days of her illness. Thanks for the tip! I dont think I will have these issues with the baby tho she is quickly catching him on the scales and isnt at all boney - she is however enjoying the new changes LOL

yup tats been my reluctance with satin balls. I am sure he would love to try goats milk hadnt thought of that. He stole two things this week - porridge from alexs chair and alex dropped a piece of his home made pizza with sweet potato prawns and baby bocconcini - both very appetising apparently

we got the pork Dr B's barf patties well OMG didnt he think they were a bit of heaven. He has licked the bowl clean and made sure Jazz has left none either. He was the last one at his bowl for once. We also gave him some yogurt in his dry. So plan is to trial dr b's barf one night kibble and yougurt the next. will update where we go from here am still looking for a better kibble too. Would a reproduction formula work? Bec
