So I get to have a little brag today Toby went Best of Breed WITH competition :D It took me a minute to realise she was pointing to us and hubby said he should have taken a pic of my face as I went from disbelief to OMG i just won lotto Toby has celebrated in true style by playing with the empty toilet roll he has been eyeing off He is doing soooooooooo much better was so proud of him today. The dog he was in challenge with he LOVES and goes nuts for. To keep him under control with Doc around is not easy. It was also nice to have some other newbies celebrate our win - it was nice to hear Deb celebrating our win! Bec

Hey steph - you were about to get in trouble if you called newy "country" lol Jessm - windy a lil dusty but fine so assuming show training is on. Was going to go early and meet tracey with the bichons foe extra practice but just got home and miss 6 has a temp of 40 and an earache so back to GP for her. Hubby should be home early so I can go to training though remember it starts at 6.30 due to day light savings from now on you up this way this weekend poocow? we are doing all 4 (theres a toy show too )

You've seen us in the ring deb we're the light entertainment! But hey we make a little step in the right direction each time as he is finally getting some of it. When he mucks up next week remind me you did see him walk straight and stand and stack! Nicky has helped us heaps my only complaint about training is tobes and I need it weekly!! but we've just decided to do that anyway. I will go most days this week with him even 20 mins in the ring a day will help him, well it has so far Oh and I did have a chuckle that your baby licked the judge we have 100 pecent sucess there lol Bec

Deb GOODLUCK today it was tempting to nick off with chester what a cutie It was hard to achieve much in the weather. I didnt take my table due to the weather but next time I will for sure and we can table them and them approach and go over them? JUst an idea. Secretly I am glad someone else has seen him walk straight and stack.....fingers crossed he will do it in the ring charm and chester look lovely and shiney and like showdogs even in the wet.......very unlike Toby will check in tonight to see how you go

I know if some of the bigger dogs behaved the way some of the toys do there might be trouble. I'm glad you'll be easier to spot I will say hi for sure. Bec

sammy we might actually meet went for a practice between showers and practiced powdering the coat dry so if we get a wet show no need to panic. we are doing all 4 shows with competition

Hi Bec, I am still coming in. Just leaving home now. I probably wouldn't bother but I've got a min pin specialty show in Sydney tomorrow, and really need the practice!! Don't drag yourself out on my account, though. I can always just run around by myself if you'd prefer to stay cosy and warm. Deb nah were on our way too not too bad out and no gaurantees what weather will do next week

Sorry I have been so slack guys meant to post this hours ago Miss 6 and master 4 decided they wanted to share a room tonight and lets just say they took alot longer going to sleep than usual Okay so I am keen to head out to hillsborough tomorrow provided it isnt pouring down. I went earlier in the week for a quick trip and it seemed to work a treat. So if anyone is keen I was thinking around 3ish? time to get stuff done in the morning yet time to be home for tea with the kids. I have all day though so let me know if another time suits better Cheers Bec

I want him nice and familiar in the ring I actually did NOT reverse handle him and he walked like a dream Jess are you still keen? I will ring tracey from training and Deb you want to bring the kids? (both fur and skin or either ) I guess they shall get used to having others in the ring too we only did about 40 mins and kids had a great time and they couldnt annoy anyone as we were the only ones there. You prob already know this but if you buy water soluble tea tree oil and dilute in a spray bottle with water mist kids hats and head lightly daily might help prevent other kids getting them. The mist in the school hats works too. While they are going round weekly thick cheap (has to be cheap) conditioner and a comb has proved just as effective as the chemicals with no resistance. The other preventative is hair products like spray - they dont like it. Choice did an artice I thought interesting but not sure if I have the link anymore. My 6yr old princess got them earlier in the year. Her hair is down to her bum - I feel your pain!! If only there was advantix for kids

will keep you updated on the odour .............ewwwwwwwwwwww he used to be able to clear a room this little innocent little fluffy made the most awful smells. I am making our cauliflower baken in cheese sauce I am quite sure he would give that a go He has already been pacing over the roast lamb in the slow cooker all day :D but having said that the smell has been making us all hungry. Wasnt very sure on the spinach/silverbeet - I have loads in the garden I though I might chuck some in?? Thankyou as always!! bec

hey guys can dogs have pumpkin sweet potato and cauliflower?? And what about spinach? I have lamb, beef, pork and veal minces and thought I would bag up some with the cooked veg I am roasting for dinner into little freezer bags. He is currently enjoying 4 chicken necks a night and loving them combined with royal canin for breakfast. Thought he needed something more than necks at dinner. Ta Bec

Thanks Deb - I had a great day too was great company although I do think we need to get better at our game of pick the winner......dont think I picked one all day I have to say viviane looked awesome such a softie too Oh and I thought I was a tragic getting updates from my breeder re a fellow Hav exhibitor in melbourne royal specials but poocpw takes the cake with her DOL updates I do want to know if I can go to hillsborough to train in the ring ??? red dust isnt great on any dog PC but at least the lovely miss morgie shouldnt show it on her paws tomorrow unlike the superbrat - he likes to go for a walk and say hi but wont really be able to walk much unless I want to show an orange dog

Me too deb otherwise hubby will be dashing out to camping country to get another wall kit to fully enclose it what time you heading out in the morning?? Hubby has put up gazebo for me today while I was at work. Been at work from 6am to almost 6 pm about to bath toby now - debated doing it in the morning but cant get up that early lol

okay so gazebo vs car - gazebo won My kids are still in car seats/boosters - large ones at that so it was a squeeze and a real PIA, it was taller than me (not thats hard) so hubby took it back and swapped it for a standard 3x3 and wallkit for the same price I think $170 for the standard 3x3 was a great price and it fits perfectly accross the boot and I can move it easily by myself. Our tarp is down already - hubby did that while I was at work to keep master 4 occupied Deb will pm you where I am set up if youre interested Bec
