Hi guys so I need to get my boy scored. A couple of questions though - dumb ones I guess. Is there an unbiased way of finding out a breed average so I know whats acceptable? I havent had to do this before and nope not got him paired off already Hes just turned two today and were just looking at getting his testing done So on this topic can anyone recommend a vet for xraying? I am located in newcastle. Obviously closer to home would be better but can do sydney if need to. Only doing this once. Off to see if I can google how it all works Ta Bec EFS

as the title says which ones fly dogs and is it cheaper to fly them with you?? I will be flying to same destination at same time?? Thanks in advance Bec

i hope this poor lil dog is found safe and sound and is in his owners arms soon. Bickmores comment saying it (the dog) would be happier not being paraded around and blowdried was stupid. One might say to her that she indeed might be happier being ripped away from the people she loves by strangers instead of being made up blow dried and paraded every night on TV. This little pup is cleaned and cared for and loved. On weekends it gets to go to shows and spend time with his owner - not left at home and neglected - his coat is cleaned and groomed not left to matt. Yet they made this out to be unfair?

Oh goody - i wanted to search this topic RnL thankyou for the updates too. Small havanese and big needle I also get the microchip thankyou. Toby has one barely noticible but my bitch, hers seems huge and I hate the feel of it! I have a 7 month old bitch and 18 month old dog. 18 month old isnt being shown currently and we dont want any accidents so have been considering this as an option. I also have ALOT of trouble keeping weight on him so Sway those pics are actually a plus for me. Hes under weight currently as hes ben on kibble completely for almost 2 weeks and droped weight at the kennels. Bec

yep there were big tubs , but the toilets had a spruce up and I am not sure if they still are or if they are *meant* for dog use. That said yes I certasinly have seen them used for this :D will need to ask David the groundsman/caretaker if its allowable

there were some serious Havs in the open show from what I believe so your win is AWESOMENESS! wish theyd do a NSW VBRBC show ;) now I think its time for a lola photo update - dying to see her coat! And yeah I heard it was one of the Cutlers malts who took BIS for the champ show so I can imagine the coat!

ah i thought it must have been the VBRB club show. Loads of Hav people in that but I heard it was another breed that got BIS - way cooler that it was LOLA!! would like to come down for one of those as its as close as we get to a specialty.

So I have 2 long coated dogs who after their final rinse if you say "big shake" will do exactly that. A big shake to get the water off. This is said after you have stepped away. WELL miss 7 thought it hillarious when she eyed me washing the older boy yesterday and decided to hide and walk past the bathroom and in her perky voice yell big shake right as I leant into him this went on for a while with her hiding Tonight Jazz got a show bath .....and from her bedroom yells big shake....I thought she was asleep so I jumped this kids laughed their heads off. Sometimes I wish our dogs werent so obliging....................................

OK night before a show its 930 I am in bed with the leccy blanket, dogs groomed, car packed, clothes ready, must be some kind of record Dog help me when she has a full coat!! Have a piccy on my phone of toby curled up on the bedding that was piled on the grooming box. he has been running back and forth between the show stuff and me tail wagging. NO WAY hes being left behind should be asleep since I was at work at 530 and didnt finish till430 on my feet
