Hi snusnu95, your pup needs to be registered on the main register with the state he was born in - dogs Queensland, You will also have to be a member of DQ, The points are like this 5 points automatic and 1 point per dog show on the day, then if you win Best of Breed you get an extra point from each of the other sex shown. so if you are the only dog of your breed entered and you win challenge you get 6 points and no extra for Best of Breed. If there are say 6 dogs of your breed shown, 3 dogs and 3 bitches, and you win BoB you would get an 11 points being 8 point for challenge and 3 extra point for the other dogs from the opposite sex. If you are lucky enough and win group you then get 25 points if there is more then 20 dogs eligible for points shown in your group. You can not get more that 25 points at a show. Baby puppies are not eligible for points. hope this isn't confusing Kerry

I wore a skirt once and we arse up in ankle deep water, since then I've worn pants. I must say some of the suits out there are awesome, I love the bright colours, I don't think that they look out of place. I you want to wear one do it it's a free country.

One of my bosses has one of these. Told me one day that his dog ran off his property, crossed the road and attacked the dog over the road who was being walked on lead by his owners on the edge of their property. When I asked what was he going to do about it he said he spoke to the owners and offered them a load of fire wood and to pay for the vet bill if they didn't report it. Then went onto tell me that his dog doesn't need any extra training as it does everything he asks of her???!!!!

Sorry for your loss tikira. I do prefer the company of my dogs as they dont stab you in the back like some people do. So I changed the people I hang out with and now most of my friends have dogs and most of them feel the same

Due to unforseen circumstances it is unsure if the numbers for Tallangatta have been sent out. So if you have entereded and have not received your numbers, new numbers will be issued and passes will be at the gate.

Freyja with her Lamb Chops dolly. She takes him everywhere, to the water bowl for a drink, to her dinner bowl and even outside when she goes to the loo. He makes the best pillow as well

All of the above, I've have a slab of concrete layed in my back yard and I had just finished night shift when the truck arrived about 7.30am I heard about 3 beebs of the truck reversing, (which was right next to my bedroom window) that was it but one of the dogs just has to make a noise and I'm awake

Hi all, Just letting everyone know that Bianca is keeping the entries open till the 19th.

I made pasta (the one from the packet were you add milk and water). No dog hair in the microwave container that I used, none on the plate I put the pasta on, but bugga me dead I get half way through it and here under the pasta, not on top was a GSD hair on the plate. Made me think of this topic :laugh:

I have alway made my own treats, my Mum bought my Sibes some smackos for a christmas pressie. She opened the bag and offered them one, the took it and then spat it out so quick it was funny. The expression on their faces was "What the hell are you trying to feed me?"
