  1. Hi the kibble is very small, a round kibble but a similar size to Pro Plan performance etc not big like Bonnie for example. Kel.
  2. Hi Chocolate. In answer to your questions.... The food is made in Victoria. The set up costs for the packaging are in the tens of thousands to set up the die to print the bags. I am not sure about the other brands you mention but I know in NSW Pro Plan is $110 for a 17 kg bag of adult food (more if you buy from Petbarn!!!) and this food is $85 for 20kg so for alot of people with mulitple dogs to feed this is a great option to keep costs down without losing quality. I fed Pro Plan exclusively for 6 years and gave this a go. All ten of my dogs have beeen on it for almost a year and they look fantastic. I have raised several litters on the adult formula as I breed Labs and don`t like to give high protein foods to pups which may make them grow too fast and end up with hip and elbow issues. The pups have been outstanding. I have found a reduction in doggy smell on this food and the stools are dark and firm. I recommend this food as I believe it is an excellent quality kibble at a great price not just because I sell it. I think the results speak for themselves. The results speak for themseves as far as I am concerned and all who are using it LOVE it. If you are concerned there is something dodgy going on just don`t use it. In regards to the cat food. I have bred cats while I lived in NZ and fed food up to $15/kg! For a cat breeder to be able to buy a high quality food for less than $5/kg that is a huge saving! My cats have been on the cat food for a month now and are soooo shiny! Kel - NSW rep

  5. I just wanted to add that I have the food available here in NSW and deliver to Syndey and surrounding areas regually with a mobile microchipping service. I have 10 show/breeding dogs and alwaqys used a premium imported dry food. I changed to this food almost a year ago with outstanding results and I now recommend it to all my puppy people and inculde a 20kg bag in my puppy packs. I have tried the cat food more recently as it is new and not only is the price great compared to most premium dry foods, the cats love it and they look so shiny and healthy. There are some real savings to be made for those with mulitple cats while still feeding a top quality product.

  8. There is some interesting discussion re this issue. When I say I am going to test I am doing it prepared for the results. If my dogs are carriers I will not completely change the direction of my breeding program but breed carrier to clear and test the offspring. I have a black litter due in December and will be testing any show quality girls for colour and EIC as some will carry choc and some yellow and choc. Hopefully I will have a girl not carrying yellow who is EIC clear. (fingers crossed lol) Having said that if there is a stunning carrier pup I will keep that puppy and breed to a clear dog in the future. I am concerned about the reliability of the test etc but I will see what the results have to say and reconsider my position from there. I feel it is good idea to know if it is there in my lines or not. I agree there are many other issues affecting our breed that are more important right now and that someone is definately making money from all these tests. I just want to know out of interest that status of my dogs and see what future delvolpments bring. No I have never seen a collaspsing dog.
  9. Thank you for the info. As it is easy to test for and relatively easy to get out of your breeding program I will test all 8 of my dogs and takes steps over the next couple to generations to ensure I breed EIC clear pups. I still have doubts about the whole thing but better to get onto it now before it becomes a requirement in the future. Fingers crossed the news isn`t too bad! Thanks again for your comments and info. Kel.
  10. Hi all. I know this may have been covered before but just interested in some info re EIC testing, inheritance and anything related anyone may have to say re Labradors. I live in NSW and have 8 Labs of various ages. I have hear there are already restrictions in some states re breeding carriers? Any info would be appreciated.
