  1. We got to have a cuddle with the puppies this morning, here are a few photos
  2. The front cover Full cover! And a little teaser of the inside... Enjoy! - Astred
  3. Don't forget about your copyright! If you do give him permission to reproduce your photo for free - which is what you will be doing: give permission for reproduction. Make sure you state the terms in which they can use the image: Can they only use it once in the book? Can they use it for marketing marketing material? Will it be on the inside of the book or the cover? How long can they use it for? the life of this edition or can they continue to use it for every other edition? Will they have exclusivity? World, Australia or America? This is your intellectual property. If you do allow them to use it for free at least make sure it's a restricted usage agreement. and well done!
  4. I just came in at the end for the design, production and prepress There are some awesome recipes in the book and i was so impressed by the amount people submitted. And Heasapandabear worked REALLY hard chasing contributors and sponsors. Plus we had a proofreader and an editor/proofreader, so production values are pretty high on this (not so) little self published book! Heasapandabear - do you mind if I post an image of the cover?
  5.  I want to know how the matt lamination has turned out, my printer proof didn't have the final finish.
  6. Naaww! they are so gorgeous. Great shots Bec, so clear and lovely. Funny furrybums
  7. Nothing but a pointless post of no help to OP what so ever! and that Is according to who??? You!...... But off course half a dozen examples of the breed Is enough for you make such a harsh judgment on them! an ENTIRE breed!! I find Tapferhund's comments regarding AmBulls inflammatory.
  8. Oh thank dog! I was poopin' myself when you posted the transport company didn't have it.
  9. Yay! Dutch is our handsome little monster :D Buy a calendar and you can almost hear him "roo roo roo"ing
  10. When Knuckles was 6months OH had her with him at the local pet supply shop and some guy tried to convince OH to let him bred her to make pigging dogs Luckily, she had been desexed _that week_ so OH was able to say a firm no thanks and show him the stitches (just in case he wasn't convinced). - Astred
  11. Who cares what those sort of people think? I'm loving your regular updates on the spotty clan... keep them coming! T. x2 spotty, i take real pleasure in reading your posts --- irrespective of some aspects like yukky dead things i always end up smiling X3!
  12. Hi Smisch - for a templated site it's not bad at all. Judging by the previous comments I thought your site was going to be appalling, but it isn't. Keep working on it and I am sure it'll look great! - Astred
  13. Ha! I was just coming here to post about this video! ;) Here is an awesome behind the scenes blog by the dog trainers Talented Animals And the song has an awesome title White Knuckles
  14. Whoo ghetto-style. yeah that's pretty crappy Bec. hehehe!! Great work! Are you going to add a blog section for easy updates? - Astred
  15. I took a vote, Knuckles likes Skipper (because that is cute and 60s) and Dutch likes Bandit (because it's cool and a neat boys name) I like them both I am glad your brood is getting on well, I bet the puppy with settle down after a few days. He probably hasn't seen another dog since he left his mum! He's so gorgeous! And it's great he is happy to sleep in the laundry - phew! That's one less thing you have to worry about when you need a break
  16. Like all dog parks (and life in general) there are good things and there are bad things. But it is an awesome park, with awesome people. We were so proud of the community we joined when we moved to the area. And if it wasn't for the park we wouldn't have our Blue-terror-- erm i mean Dutch! - Astred (p.s LOVE Moe!)
  17. YAY! for the found sheltie! And please explain the bite marks and 'dalmatian guy'. It's been ages since we've been to the park and I would like to know if there are problems (so we can keep out of the way if we see problem dogs). - Astred
  18. EVERYTHING off the floor! Prepare for puppy invasion! Hide all your good shoes, and get the 'no-bite' spray for dinning table legs. And I bet Pepper can teach the puppy how to cuddle Our two weren't big cuddlers, they liked their own beds but would snuggle after breakfast. Now, we don't need two beds they are always snuggled with each other. It's so cute to see their squishy faces pressed together. - Astred
  19. you're gonna have to change that! My old dally boy's name was Thorn (one of the dogs from the Lost Boys movie - I was a tragic goth as a teenager ) - Astred ETA: PUUUPPPPYYY!!! YAY fingers crossed
  20. I would have thought if you were to get another dog for your pack, a puppy would be best. I guess the main point being made is 'is any new dog okay to introduce to your pack at the moment?' But if you feel it's right, then a puppy would be better as Tango has instant authority over it (being older and higher up in the pack) so it'll be less of a threat to him. I guess it's just up to you to maintain your dominance over all the dogs so they don't feel like it's up to them to sort out problems: what you say is law( Judge Dredd style ) - Astred
  21. that's awesome! Yes the old one had a tomato sauce bottle. But my newly designed edition has just come out and I commissioned Ruthless for the pedagogical features, all the feature boxes now have dogs as their icons
