But you're not MM I know of a fully vaccinated 3 month old puppy getting it not long after the Victorian floods from a show.

I 'spied' one today at the Spitz show ;) Or maybe it was one of those pesky terrier or toy people

I have big (sorta) dogs and don't have a problem inside, either myself or the dogs I would much prefer to be inside out of the rain and wind and MUD than outside and I would much prefer the even concrete to the gorgeous green but uneven surface we had last weekend. I tripped in a hole and landed on my poor dog. -
I have three entire males (and two females) who all run together and get along perfectly 99.9% of the time. We have the occassional grumble which is very short lived. All dogs are separated when we aren't around, more because I am worried about the evil they would get up to and of course any female in season is usually shipped off.

I am so sorry for your loss xox RIP Kaisie

It was still audible so you can hardly say they took it's voice away. The dog is most probably a nuisance barker and you have no idea what methods have been tried. There are far worse things for a dog than having its pitch lowered. I can't believe some people either Need a like button

I have no numbers for either day tried ring the secretary to get an answering service which I can't leave a message on because it is full, 6 dogs to bath, ummmmmmm what to do

That is it Stolzsein mud, mud and more mud It was my first 'wet' show and I was so unprepared, the 1 1/2 hour drive home soaked to the skin was fun, NOT! I am in Bayswater and the weather is shocking, absolutely bucketing down, not sure what to do, my older boy does his best work in the mud. Me I would much prefer to stay home snuggled up on the couch with a dvd and a hot chocolate Thanks Vacuna looking forward to an update

Nope the shows that you are referring to that were washed out were in August, I remember because Bundy got his first ever Best In Group on the concrete there. Sunday was Yea and District not sure about Saturday. The weather was nice for the two Seymour shows in May it was my little girls first outing.

My heart belongs to my Sammys :D However I would really like a Kees. The three other breeds I covet are Afghan Saluki Irish Setter And one day I will get a little dog, I don't know what breed though Edited to add the dogs I have already owned or my parents owned while I was growing up Alaskan Malamute German Shepherd Red Heeler Bull Mastiff Kelpie Golden Retreiver Foxxy Staffordshire Bull Terrier and of course my oh would never be without a Sibe.

Will you be there both days E? I may be a little under the weather on Saturday but will come and find you on Sunday ;) Sounds like perfect Spitzy showing weather :D Yes I am there both days with Alera. Bah I got mine last night Stolzsein but they are sitting on my coffee table at home, not very helpful hey but I think from memory about 150 in group 6. Lots of Sammys, at least 25 between my lowest and higest numbers :D

My two girls (Samoyed and Sibe) are both prolific ratters and rabbiters. Sorry to all the bunny lovers out there but in my paddocks they are just vermin Way too much like hard work for my boys Thankfully I have never seen a mouse or a rat in my house and think I would freak if I did ;) Only draw back to that is ............ cleaning bunny blood from white coated dogs after a tug of war

This one irks me a lot!! (note: a lot not alot!!). I am so guilty of this I know I do it and I just can't seem to stoppppppppppppppp

Yeah but boy are they stubborn Mine thinks he is the centre of the universe. In many regards we are their pets and belong to them Most males think they are the centre of the universe SM ;)

Run free gorgeous girl I'll never forget the one & only time I met you. My silly Bundy had won his first best in show and he lay down on the grass beside you desperate to give you sloppy kisses while you ignored him Big hugs to BB and BBJ

The going rate for a registerd Sammy down here from an ethical breeder is about $1500. I paid a little less than that for my first Bundy. He has gone on to be multi best in show champion, but regardless of that he is healthy and sound both in body and mind and my bestest buddy :D

You also didn't get any breed specific health testing.. As I said - before I came onto this forum I didn't know any of this stuff. The reason I joined this forum was so I could learn more about my dogs and to learn more about dogs in general and it has helped me a lot. I try very hard to take care of my dogs and would do anything for them if it was good for them. I am nbot denying I went into buying these dogs with my eyes practically closed because I did but I have turned around, changed my lifestyle for them, gotten them proper training, gotten them regularly checked by the vet etc. I think I have done good. And I will do whatever is necessary to make sure they have long, happy and healthy lives.

Oh me too What I want to know is why I can reverse the Ftruck with a gooseneck on the back with my eyes closed but always have bimbi moments reversing my itty bitty single axle trailer with my wagon

Interesting read for a boring Thursday afternoon. Coming from having shown, bred and judged horses for 30 years I find the dog world quite bizarre at times. Why should owning and showing a fantastic neuter be the stepping stone to getting an entire Some people have no interest in breeding but in just exhibiting. Lets face it having entire dogs (or horses) is a pita if you don't breed. I have five of them (entires that is ). I plan on breeding in the future but at the moment it isn't high on my list of priorites. Surely there is a whole world of people who would love to be out and about showing their fantastic quality 'pets' for fun once or twice a month if given a chance. With declining numbers I don't think we are looking further enough afield. But ................. congratulations to everyone who has gained their neuter title :D
