I agree. +1. This is how i read it.

I looked at this too. Cost was too much, so purchased a pet containment system.. radio fence. My dogs wear electric collars and it gives them a shock similar to that of the static shock of touching a car door etc.

Police Investigate Mass Dog Slaughter
Parkeyre replied to Wajoma's Aussies's topic in General Dog Discussion
Read about this earlier.. Pretty disgusting. -
My Australian Shepherds would need American names if so.. I quite like the idea of aussie names though. Mine just get names i like, names i would consider for children etc. Millie, Cooper and Jack. I also like Charlotte, Lacey and Hamish

chicken stock, and water in an empty icecream tub.. throw it in the freezer and save for a hot day. smash it up, put on floor in container and my dogs will not leave it till it's gone. they LURVE it.

I read Daisy's question wrong. FWT is an abbreviation for "Fair wear and tear".

I dont know either Daisy? It is used to insult someone? (if so, it might be F**k w*t) It's For the win! it's an expression like "I just got a new dress FTW! Years ago it wasn't entusiasm.. it was negative and was used as "Fock the World", which has since been replaced with more common "Fock My Life", or FML ETA:

It's the breed name. German Shepherd Dog beeder etc. Like a Bernese Mountain Dog.. If it wasn't for the added "dog" on the end, you might not know someone is talking about. Other examples: Anatolian Shepherd Dog Australian Cattle Dog Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog Belgian Shepherd Dog Bergamasco Shepherd Dog Bernese Mountain Dog Canaan Dog Canadian Eskimo Dog Central Asian Shepherd Dog Chinese Crested Dog Italian Corso Dog Kangal Dog Maremma Sheepdog Old English Sheepdog Peruvian Hairless Dog (Perro Sin Pelo Del Peru) Polish Lowland Sheepdog Portuguese Water Dog Pyrenean Mountain Dog Shetland Sheepdog White Swiss Shepherd Dog

Cats In The Reception Area Of The Vets
Parkeyre replied to ruthless's topic in General Dog Discussion
The "patient" cats should be in cages or secured some how. Theres a big difference between that and one roaming freely. The patient dogs are supposed to be under control too, so *technically* there is not supposed be a problem. If you have a dog that doesn't like other animals (of whatever type) why not leave him/her in the car until you are called? Or pop in to tell the vet you are there and wait outside with your dog. In most places you can also ask to use a 'back' entrance if you don't want to walk through the waiting room. Vets often have a consult room free, so you can also often also ask to wait in the consult room. Remember that cats have emergencies too, and someone picking up an injured cat and taking it to the vet might not have access to a crate. My old vets had two resident cats. The dogs that didn't tolerate small animals usually waited outside on the verandah with their owners, or in the consult room. I've had to use the back entrance/wait in the car option many times with fosters who were straight out of the pound (when I didnt want to risk exposing dogs in the waiting room to anything the unvaccinated poundy might have) so there are plenty of people for whom the waiting room is not suitable. If you are one of them, the easiest option is just to not use it! Because I'm paying for a service and I shouldn't have to wait outside or put my dog in a car just because the vet likes to have an animal roaming free in the waiting area. I would also be well and truly pissed if the resident cat was in the consulting room and interrupting the appointment or causing additional stress for my dog. I agree that if you can't control your dog on a short leash even though all other animals are secured, then you need to take responsibility for this and it may warrant waiting outside or in another room. Most vets I've come across also have spare leashes and cat cages on hand in case they need to secure an animal that is brought in without one as a result of an emergency or an idiot owner. You're paying for his time, Do you get charged an amount each time he sees you in his office, and then more for medication and surgeries etc? If so; you are paying for his time and skills. At my vet; the cat, dog and bird are all free roamers. It's HIS place and his animals are all perfectly fine with animals coming in. If there is an aggressive dog, the cat just wanders off etc. -
Yeah, that sounds like a lot to me. But the breeder may well be capable. is the breeder registered/
-
dont know if i can say the breed?..... you can say the breed. I just wouldnt say the breeder.
-
could have been sweat and slobber all sat over etc?
-
what breed are the puppies? Some litters can have ten at once? I think it depends on what the breeder is capable of raising properly, and the homes lined up etc. If a breeder is able to keep the pups if they don't sell then I don't think there's anything wrong with having two litters etc. But yes, to me also; 26 pups sounds like a lot.. That's atleast three litters of aussies in my mind

i think the ad is awesome.. the horse/cow and the tree.. they were my favourites.. although the rocks and the flower/hay mix people were cool.

Looks like a Pomeranian or cross of one. Hard to tell with it just sitting down and not groomed like a show Pom. It's a Pomeranian as far as I can tell.

Mine sort of sniff around then start, and continue while following a sniff trail. lol

Will the light in the room be on when he is going to bed? He will need quiet time, so a cover may be needed..

you need to reply to the post, take away the quotation marks and then add your dogs in alphabetically. Otherwise someone else will ahve to do it OR your dogs names wont be on the list when the next person adds theres.
-
Well, the girl's name thread has gone off wonderfully. To add your male dog names to the list, you need to click on "Reply" in the bottom right hand corner of the last post. When your post box comes up, remove/delete the quote marks eg: [ Quote ] and then fill in your names where they fit alphabetically, not just at the end please. If your boy's name is already on the list, add a number next to it. eg: Cooper x2, Cooper x 7 if your the 7th person to add a cooper. To start: Brockie Charlie Cooper Jack Juggie Tazz

Especially seeing as though they are white ones, who could be blind, deaf or have skin issues.
