I have three aussies from three breeders. I have become really good friends with two other aussie breeders who one day i hope to be lucky enough to get a pup from. The breeders who I bought the aussies from have been goodin keeping in touch for the most part, but not on a really good friend level. One of the aussie's breeders and myself had a faling out over a co-owned dog with monochridism(sp?) and she hasnt spoken to me since.

Ladies?!?!?!? Now hang on a minute....... Are you looking for a portable or a fixed option. I'm soon moving to a new house and want to set up a fairly permanent run for my dogs. I've had a look at a few of the modular options and the option I think I'm going to go with it to have a pergola built and then fence in around it - the price will probably be the same as a modular dog run. I figure that by doing this, if i move, all the fencing stuff can be pulled off and it's just a pergola that maybe new people would find more useful than a dog run - lol. My apologies I'd really like to have seperate runs, so when my bitch comes into season she isn't locked inside all day, and by having more then one run; my boy wont link with her through the fencing. I've got a handmade welded run seperated into two that the dogs sleep in, but I'd like runs that can flush against my fence without actually attaching to anything structually.

THanks for your thoughts ladies.. Any other suggestions?

PetSafe Dog Enclosure - Small Square Kennel Run What do you think of the runs? Was it hard to put up? Is anything broken/not fitting right etc? Are you happy with it? Would you buy another? Further Comment? I don't know anyone who has them, and I'm looking to get actual runs, rather then wire mesh dividing the kennel areas.

1. Keep mum dog contained... a wandering dog can be a safety hazard, to herself and people. 2. Could the pup be constipated? are they toileting on their own? hold the genetalia to mum and see if she will stimulate the pup. you can do this gently with a warm cloth. Q1. If you are worried, start supplimenting the pups with puppy formula, and you can mix this with arrowroot biscuits, or weetbix etc all crushed up and warmed. Q2. Worming can start now. ETA: worming, not weaning

We have carpet and lino, and then tiles in the bathroom and laundry.. the tiles are not scratched, the lino has no damage either but the carpet in the loungeroom in paticular is pathetic now. :D

+1. I wonder what is required to actually run a breed rescue in SA.

why? Yes why? I've never owned a rescue dog or a crossbreed and I never will, I'm a purebred dog snob and proud of it. I have never personally owned a mix breed or rescue dog myself, family has as a child, but never me. I never will either. You get what you pay for.

I would wait. Atleast untill you are sure.. No point rushing into anything and taking this bitch just because she is available.

I've had the painful image of a neighbours dogs dead hanging over my fence since I was a little girl. If you can help it, please don't tie up your dog, or atleast make it so she can't loop herself or get caught on anything. Try an electric dog fence, crate training, a dog run, fence extensions, or indoor living if you must.

Can the dog be seperated, crated, putoutside.. I would NOT be putting any person in that situation, regardless of the age.

I loved that show! They never finished it. What breed is Eddie? I'm pretty sure he is a husky x border collie but he reminds me a lot of an australian shepherd, which is what breed my dogs all are. :D According to website he is a Australian Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix So no wonder he reminds you of your beautiful dogs ;) how i like him even more.
