  1. Five week old litter here. 4 puppies raised on di-vetalact, 4 on Puppy Gold. Puppy Gold puppies are significantly larger, brighter and better coated. Will continue to watch their progress.
  2. That makes me feel a little better - will have to seriously consider - after all the boy I like is pretty special. Alpha Bet. I PMd you a while back, did you get it? :)
  3. I have ventured into frozen semen twice and it has gone very well both times. Both times the insemination was successfull and the litters produced 12 and 10 puppies.
  4. X-ray in the last week. :) good luck! :)
  5. 2-4 adult Australian Shepherds, 0-2 young adult Domestic Longhair Cats and two adult humans on a king sized bed. Then add the 5month old crates puppy next to my side of the bed who will be joining us on the bed once she's better house trained.
  6. Pug, Beagle, Jack Russel. Any two or three of the above..
  7. Currently trying to get mastitis under control with my girl Alice. She has a litter of puppies who will be four weeks old this Tuesday night. Upon first recognition of the mastitis she was taken the vet and given anitibiotics, enough for four days. We are on day three and Alice is taking 3 x tablets once a day of Baytil Flavour 50. (1 tablet per 10kilos). Under vet recommendation, we took her away from the puppies. 24hrs later (last night) her mastitis has gone from just one boob to all 10 of them. Crying, I rang a breeder and she said to put the puppies back on her. This morning only the first boob was still hard and swollen. Tomorrow is our last day of antibiotics before it runs out. What else can we do?
  8. I've tried. Any links would be appreciated. I'm not interested in the "business" side, just wondering if these discs actually work, or are akin to the Balance Bands.
  9. It was an impressive car and trailer setup. A friend of mine saw it just yesturday and posted a photo of it..
  10. Happy 1st Birthday to Parkeyre Australian Shepherd's Star Litter. <3 eta: It's still the 4th here in SA. ;)
  11. As above, has anyone had any experience with the Pet Protector discs that are worn on a cat/dog's collar? Thanks.
  12. If I left click and drag your photo to the URL bar I can save it.
  13. The babies are two and a half weeks old. :) these are photos of them at two weeks.
  14. Ah Isohunt, thankyou for all of my programs and for being super friendly to my bank account. :)
  15. Thank you for that. :) And thanks to those who are PMing me. Very much appreciated.
  16. Thank you, I read your thread, but I'm seeking more information on the actual procedure, companies used ETC, rather then estimates in costs. Thanks. :)
  17. Hi there. Does anyone have any recent (last few years) experience with importing a medium size puppy from the US to Australia? I would really love it if those who have can please PM me so that I can discuss the procedure and tips etc. "If I did it again, I 'd..." Type stuff is good too. Alternatively my email is Parkeyre (at) hotmail.com Thank you.
  18. Are they? I think that's quite a generalisation. I don't agree - at all, particularly not when it comes to Corgis...it's not a "common" problem for them IMO/E My sister in law gave up corgis after two of her three had serious spinal problems. See, also http://www.corgi-tra...ealth-problems/ Are you saying the 'dorgi' is a good cross? No. Aziah is saying that your comment was not correct, and I agree with her. She said nothing about Dorgis or aliens or glitter.
  19. I do it at 3 weeks, when they are small enough to see more on the screen ETA: and then I X-ray in the final week for a skeleton count
  20. Early desexing has a tendency to create taller dogs? Other then that I'd say luck of genetics and knowing your pedigrees.
