This does work well with some dogs. I have one at home and one at the beach house. I really recommend them if people are willing to follow the instructions and actually show the dog how it works.

I have an inground fence system. It's the PETSAFE Pet Containment In ground Radio Fence, or something along those lines. I highly recommend it. If George doesnt have a fence, you'd need to create some kind of visable barrier for him.. Police tap type material, string flags or birthday flags would work.

Even when the standard is followed there is a huge difference betweeen show dogs, and working dogs. ETA: Clarrification. I see many different "types" of aussies. All to the standard, yet all different. Different ends of the height requirement, different takes on what is "moderate" etc

My dogs do wonderfully on Purina Pro Plan, large breed puppy formula, then then adult.

take a look at border collies (the ones here locally atleast) and other breeds. I notice that working lines tend to be finer as they are lean working machines

My black tri colour australian shepherd bitches have pink and purple leash sets. My Black tri colour australian shepherd male has a red set and a dark blue set.
