My partner and I have recently acquired our breeder's prefix and are proud to announce our kennel name; "Parkeyre". Although it was our third choice; it has quickly grown on us. Especially myself as it's a name deprived from my surname; Parker, and my place of birth as I was born on the Eyre Peninsula, in which we currently reside. I would really like to get a website up and running with information and photos of my foundation dogs, contact information, available dogs/puppies and future litter plans etc. I'd also really like to have the website be www.parkeyre.com or as near as possible. Can anyone recommend someone that can design the site, including the basic ideas of what I want, and can either update it or make it so that I can update it myself at my leisure? It would also be appreciated if the webmaker can design logos appropriate to the breed. Regards, Bonnie.

Accompanying a pup overseas destined to be a show/breeding dog elsewhere will be a very big hassle. I agree with pretty much everything else though. -
Chicken necks are the nmber one favourite in this household. Whether its a baby puppy or an adult. Can't go wrong with the necks.

Just wanted to check in and see how you are doing. Hope you're not beating yourself up about it. She's a cutie. Thinking of ya both.

If you are 'too soft' to use an anti bark collar- then I hope you can find another solution .... Anti bark collars do what is needed- they provide either a distaction ,or an aversive when the dog barks too much. simple . It doesn't hurt the dog at any other time ..and it is only for a fraction of a second. A smart dog will learn VERY quickly what is going on, and stop doing what makes for a bit of unpleasantness :D have a read HERE for a thread on Anti bark collar use +1.

Border Collies And Australian Shepherds
Parkeyre replied to haylz27's topic in General Dog Discussion
Hehe, I took Lottie herding the other weekend (2nd time), and although she showed lots of interest, she really wasn't sure quite what she was meant to be doing - she also went up to them and sniffed their bums like she would when meeting a dog :D . With more practice (both me and her), and with me researching on how the Aussies are 'supposed' to herd... i'm sure we'll get better.... my lazy boy had no interest in sheep whatsoever! lol. -
Where is he going to be kept? There are MANY hazzords inside and out. I see No Issue with confinement. I consider it for their own safety.

Greyhounds do. Maybe call your vet and see if they can recommend anyone? Has your dog been upset/sick or anything lately? ..I really don't have any advice, but I'll try and offer what i can anyway :-)

Have her fitted for a muzzle that doesn't bother her. Then you've got the protection there should she snap again. No trainer advice from me sorry, just good vibes and hopes it was a one off. Seriously think you should consider then muzzle though.

I shouldn't laugh. Dont worry... I did!! :D *raises hand* I laughed too. :D

+1 for this. We live in a town surrounded by kids. Pup goes to beach; swarmed by kids. pup goes for a walk to ATM, children come a running. it's good fun for the pup, and so long as the kisd aren't idiots, I don't mind them telling me how gorgeous my dog is.

What a doll face.
-
Rest Peacefully dear Rusky. You were just gorgeous.

Oh my goodness! Puppy overload.

What a great example of what can be achieved with hard work, persistance and clicker training. The dogs looked like the thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Excuse my ignorance, but isn't a n Amstaff and an American Pitbull Terrier two different breeds of dog?

Those poor spectators. Fancy being attacked. No thanks.
