Absolutley gorgeous photos. Luuka is just the pretties little girl. <3 every time i see a photo of her she just looks nicer and nicer. ;) I didn't think he did anything wrong. He parked where he chose to and let his dogs out and came as got them when they ran over to yours. You were a bit rude IMO.

How do i manage it? Consistancy, a very watchful eye and mental stimulation for them both. My back and side yard are seperate so I can have the dogs seperated that way. I also have them inside one at a time, rather then two in at the same time. When I leave my property; the bitch in season comes inside anyway, and the male is in the yard outside. Now that I have two bitches, I'll probably have to seperate the larger one with some type of temporary fencing incase the bitches come into together and have a falling out. But most likely; they'll just come inside together.

Congratulations. I would love a berner one day. Can we have fatty boomba photos when she's wide and whale like? Of course! She's huge already - has gained 4 kg and 10 cm on her waistline. Her Grandma's first litter (my introduction to breeding!) was a free whelped litter of 13(all survived)! Rubes is from a litter of 9 - hopefully she doesn't have any more than that! Her daddy lives in SA Parkeyre I definatley think we require photos.

Kim, what breed are you looking for? I'm sure some DOL forum members here would be more then happy to point you in the direction of a breeder they recommend. You might find that loosing that deposit is much cheaper then loosing out on getting a great pup somewhere else and winding up with just a pup from one of many short spaced litters. You've said too that her litters have been smaller then she'd hoped for and that she's lost some. To me it sounds like A) something maybe wrong with the health of the bitches, and B) the breeder may be mass producing.

I don't feel that your breeder has been polite enough with you. Perhaps pop her an email dating when she took your deposit and how long it's actually been, then ask her when she might have something for you as you were not planning on waiting so long. Or if she can't give you a date, then state that after Xmonths if a pup isn't promised to you, then you will look elsewhere and seek refund for your deposit. That way she may realise that you don't intend on waiting forever, and you can get deadline or ask for your deposit back.

Most of my wakling is offleash as the park is about 10metres from my backgate. When we do leash up, it's a check chain and nonretractable strong leash, just in case.

I know a few Greyhounds, Poodles and Shetland Sheepdogs that would fit the bill. I wouldn't want to put a high energy medium to large working breed into a small home with both adults working fulltime. I don't think Aussies or Border Collies would be approproate, unless the actual dog was a standout.
