  1. I have rare longhaired black tri colour pitbulls! Won't somebody think of the children!
  2. Oh my god. Those photos are just heartbreaking. My thoughts are with you Jed. Stay strong. x
  3. I would be interested in reading more about it. Could you please PM me with more information? I'm new to the MDBA thing. Very interesting though, will gladly look into anything I can to support.
  4. Thanks for posting your experience with Swimmer Pups Bilbo Baggins. A very interesting read. I will go now and google more about it out of interest.
  5. Theres a recliner rocking chair, a recliner and a three seater which reclines on both ends.. All part of the same set. There's the ottoman and then there is a bean bag. I always sit on the left side of the 3seater (furthest point from the tv), Ross sits in the rocking recliner as it fits the computer desk perfectly when he swivels it, guests sit anywhere. Dogs sit on the floor.
  6. I know of a DOLer's Great Dane bitch who turns on garden taps to get herself a drink as her mummy does for her. Only trouble is when she does it when Mummy's not home, and can't turn it off for her :S
  7. Monthly; I have no idea. Food. I know that my kibble sets me back $118 and another $15 in frieght to get here. I spend about $20 (6kilos of chicken necks) at leonards each week between all three) I also buy cheap bags of raw offcuts from the butchers every 2nd of third day ($5ea) Toys. Everytime there is a new dog visit, toys are destroyed or stolen, so regularily need replacing. I do try to bring home a new awesome toy each week or two for them though. Vet. Wormers, defleas, etc I don't do pet insurance, but I would consider it if I had the money to pay for it annually and could forget about it. My vet is very inexpensive, but I do visit him for every single funny sounding cough, longstanding limp or anything unusual Equipment. I have a Petsafe Radio Fence Pet Containment System $350 + 3xcollars @$160ea for when they need it. There are three large kennels I recently purchased $410 ea and then add the roofs and ancors there's extra cost (cant think of price atm) Dog Groomers. Every month they go $40 each
  8. Thankyou for explaining that to me. I knew dogs all have unique nose prints, but I didn't realise you actually rpinted them like criminals. Learn something new every day. Cheers.
  9. Partipaws, I am so sorry for your loss. What a gorgeous little man.
  10. I'll be interested as to what replies you get here. Am I correct in thinking the implant is available for both dogs and bitches? How likely are permanent side effects? ie: infertility
  11. I thought you were talking about PEOPLE with the implant, and went to reply then noticed the "stud" comment and LOLed, spilling my two minute noodles all over my chest and legs. LOL.
  12. I'm on the fence about this new regulation. Wonder how long it will take for Dogs SA to follow.
  13. Exactly she should get papers as she has paid for them but the breeder is basically black mailing her. As for fair trading, how many times have we all read here ond DOL about how fair trading cant do jack? And also how many times have we heard the I got my puppy now I dont have papers! I'd bet serious moo-lah that this is how this will play out! These breeders sounds very dodgey and Id be requesting my money back and hope to hell they return it! Lets face it, if they can sit there now and say either you sign this contact or we dont give you papers (blackmail) what else are they capable of? Sammy Ballerina raises a good point here. Perhaps if they are unethical enough to withhold already paid for papers, which are required to be handed over according to our controlling councils, what else are they cold enough to do? I'm wondering if this dog will be eight years old and still entire, because the breeder's haven't gotten "what they wanted" from the dog, whilst the dog's already sired 5 litters and given the breeders more then his purchase price back to them tenfold.
  14. I've met some pretty rude Beagles. I have to agree with Kavik, sorry Wuffles love. I have met a LOT of beagles, in different places, situations and lines. I am yet to meet a single beagle who is well mannered or nice. They have all been rude, nasty and untrained/ignorant. They are pretty though. You cant have met too many beagles then. Beagles are ammoung one of the most popular dogs we get in at work and yes SOME can be rude or nasty as they lack socialisation and training but a well trained well adjusted beagle is a thing of beauty! Like any breed i guess! we have many that we run in play group, we currently have an entire 1yr old males whos allowed to run with 5 other dogs of around his size and hes fabulous!!! Maybe all the ones I have met have just been badly bred, poorly socialised and/or not trained. I have no idea, I was just saying what I've noticed in my experiences here.
