If A Dog Is Pregnant To Her Brother Is That A Problem?

I'm really pleased you were willing to listen to what others have to say and take it all onboard. You are making the best choice imho. -
If A Dog Is Pregnant To Her Brother Is That A Problem?
Parkeyre replied to Cazstaff's topic in Breeders Community
Are you capable of PTS any deformed pups? Will you be able to home an entire litter of pups? Are you sure the bitch is in good enough health to actually whelp her litter? Are you confident in your ability to handrear the litter if you loose her? ..lots to think about. -
Some Questions About Dog Ownership
Parkeyre replied to aussielover's topic in General Dog Discussion
Where does my dog live? - my dogs live inside full time, only being let outside for wees and zoomies. How often do I walk my dog? - Once every few days. Walking (as in on leash) isn't a daily thing but they are physically and mentally stimulated off leash. Do I walk my dog Rain, Hail or Shine? - No. They can be stimulated inside, or can use the treadmill if needed. -
Dog Registration - Help Needed Describing Colour

How was I complaining? And the Puppy Frustration thread was because the breeder led me to have high expectations. Your entitled to your opinion as is everybody in this country. You can post whatever you like on here, but I'll no longer read it or reply because I have NO time for people such as yourself. You have GOT to be kidding right? Aziah is a well respected breeder, exhibitor and mentor to many who has been a part of this forum here for much longer then you and many other newbies who think their shit don't stink. The lack of respect you show toward both Aziah and poodlefan is not needed and only makes you look worse. If your not bonding with your pup; try bringing it into the home instead of leaving it outside to it's own devices. Let it be a part of your family and enjoy the pup rather then resent it when it does things you don't want it too. Don't try and say you don't leave it outside because you said so yourself that your child asks for the dog and that it's eaten piping in the backyard. Look after your pup, love it and enjoy the time it is a pup. Soon it will become a destructive adult dog and I for one will be playing the "I told you so" tune. If you want to get any friends or respect on this forum i truley hope you heed my advice and not act like a naughty brat child and ark up at the well respected members of our forum.

I just wanted to say anyway congrats on getting a new puppy! how exciting!

I love that you are open to discussion! Having two entire dogs can be a handful and can go very wrong very quickly. An entire bitch in particular of your breed can become dreadfully bitchy in season. If you're not planning on showing her, or sitting the exam to breed her, I would desex now.
-
perhaps a male addition would better suit then. x 2 I'd be going with a baby puppy too. Yes I agree. Will you be desexing one or the other? bitches in season can be a lot of hassle, especially with an entire male nearby adding to the trouble.

I wouldn't use them past their date.

For keeping the heat OUT of the house.. The Summer efore last we installed top quality roller shutters on the windows, tinted the windows and put in a new blowin roof insulation in our roof as full as we could get it without wasting any. This summer we are ripping up the last of the lino and carpet in this house and putting down floating floorboards, the tiles are new and cool so they are staying. I bought extra laced curtains last year and really bunched them up so to block out more sun then usual and our normal interior curtains are block out ones. The Plasma TV heats up the room so we use that as little as possible on the hot days and make sure to not leave any lights on. When the weather is at it's coolest I tie back all the curtains, open the rollershutters and slide open the windows, turn the fans on and let the nice cool breeze work it's magic on our interior walls, as soon as that cool temperature dimishes I lock the house up again and let my insulation do it's job. Our laundry and toilet are the only rooms which windows are not tinted, but they are small and that funny privacy windows any way that dont let direct sun in. If you have ceiling fans, keep them on when you start to feel a bit warm, as they say heat rises so that would help a bit. When to turn the A/C on.. is the heat in your home a sticky yucky heat or a dry heat? I think each one has a different need for temperatures with the A/C. Personally if it's a 40 degree day outside the A/C goes on inside, but my house is really climate controlled so I couldn't give you the exact temperate that I would turn them on. Maybe 30 degrees?

All this time I thought all states required an exam. Which ones don't? I think it should be nationwide to require an exam. I know that South Australia currently does not require an open exam to obtain your breeder's prefix. I also thought Western Australia was the same, and possibly Tasmania? Any locals able to verify please? ETA: At the moment, South Australia does not require you to register ALL puppies in a litter, or to Microchip the pups before leaving. Unfortunatley some SA breeders are taking advantage of this and saving their pennies. It's really only about an extra $80 per pup to do both. SA rule change Jan 2010 ALL pups must come with limited or main papers there is a reminder in October Journal page 24 South Australia does now require you to register every pup & all litters. No exam here but doing an exam does not make anyone ethical or even competent, on paper & for real are not the same. In all walks of life there are registered & qualified people that one should run a mile from. Even builders, doctors, mechanics etc that do years of training & still stuff it up. The puppy buyer should use at least some common sense & do some research. Buying a pup is not like buying a dress. They should realise that health tests do have paperwork they can ask to sight. What is testable & common in the breed can be found at the click of a button on the internet. Also photos of good examples of the breed. There is so much advice available but yes it can still go wrong & its not always the breeders fault. What they do about it is where the ethics come in. If the place is filthy, the dogs look neglected, the pups don't look healthy etc they should have the sense to walk away. It would be a great word if all people were ethical but its often not enforceable really. Excellent. Thanks ladies.

I hope they do.
