How To Keep Snails Away From Vegie Patch!
Parkeyre replied to baifra's topic in General Dog Discussion
I'm of absolutely no help, but this thread just brought back childhood memories! When we were younger, Dad had us grow the actual plants in the pot through the middle of an upside down frisbee, and line the frisbee with salt. He swore this was the only way to protect each and every plant from snails. lol Oh, memories! -
Do You Think It Is Cruel /neglectful

My vote is "No". -
From what I've seen and heard of over the years; the mirchochip details have the final say. It is a permanent identification forever. And if that says Jane Jones or Mike White, then that's who it belongs too.

First, train the owner. Then, Get the dog an E-Collar and train the dog.

Is this the merle coolie mix from SA Dog Rescue? If so; she's gorgeous!

What's In Those Fly-trap Things From Bunnings?
Parkeyre replied to Katdogs's topic in General Dog Discussion
I'll do a google. is it a Envirosafe flytrap? link to pic. http://www.exploroz.com/Utilities/showImag...0.jpg&w=500 If so: # The baits are pesticide free and harmless to animals. # An economical, effective and environmentally harmless way to control flies. -
As far as I'm aware; the dogs must be siblings and less then 6 months old to be crated together. Someone could better clarify this for you though.

Poocow; do you know much more about the stations about the moment in regard to closure? I wouldn't hold your breath of that being anytime soon... First they need to sort out the stations and whats happening with that respect.

Electric Fence. I can recommend the petsafe brand. I have it and three collars for my dogs. Keeps them out of the garden

I would tell them to stick to your agreement, or cut all connections to them and move on.

You should always watch to make sure that there is no injury etc, but the dogs should know what to do.. They wouldn't be around otherwise?

I wonder what my aussies would come back as? bulldogs?

Flawed logic, the pregnant woman chooses where to go, the dog doesn't. Plenty wrong.....other dogs around would be completely stressful for the bitch, way too much noise and coming and going. I can't imagine a worse place for a bitch to be whelping a littler of puppies unless it's in the middle of a shopping centre during the Christmas rush. Well said!!

If I was the breeder I would want to know. I would have spent 8 weeks choosing the perfect home for the pup. I would want to know if I was wrong for the future.
