ok adding my brag from the State Obedience Championship. Well the weather was hot and not nice to trial. On the Saturday Gabby won UDX on 173. It was a pass but I need the ol 185 pass Owell hopefully on the weekend lol. UD Gabby won on a count back with 186. Unfortunately we were passing in open and for being different and laying down in the sit stay we stood arghhhh. On the Sunday Gabby failed seekback in the udx class. Second in open with 184 and won ud 193. Overall Gabby is the 2013 State UD and UDX Champion and also won the club team as well. So proud of the Gabster working her heart out in the heat over the weekend

I like to have unusual names but the ex named his jack russell Rambo. Our next dog being a coolie he named Xena after the warrior princess so the next coolie was Gabrielle the side kick.Very unusual. Dont know what the next one is called. A friend had a dog called CK he wasnt allowed to say catkiller so it had to be CK lots of people werent impressed at lovely dog though wouldnt hurt a fly

Thank you guys. I couldnt believe how nervous I was. Cant remember the last time I've been nervous. I was so worried about forgetting the steps. We had done a mock trial and she didnt stop barking so was expecting that as well, but she was a good girlie and kept her mouth shut lol Now have to do the second one. Than work out one for the heelwork I think obedience and agility is much easier  this is so stressful -

My coolie is called Xena the warrior princess which the ex named and when I got the second one she became Gabrielle cause in the show she is her side kick and Xena always got her out of trouble so that is why she became Gabrielle. Also had a chocolate kelpie Milo very original. The border collie belongs to my mum and she named it Inka and she thought it was unusual and noone had that as a name. It was also in her pedigree name as the pups were lords and ladys

I'm going through that now my coolie Xena had turned 14 the day before christmas. Middle of last year I thought I would have to make that awful decision. Her back leg was bad and she has muscle wastage she wasnt a happy girl just slept alot. Just aged heaps. It was so sad. Had tried paws green lipped mussel that I had heard and I can see the difference. She perked up I had thought it was my imagination as I didnt want to see her being like that but friends you were baby sitting couldnt believe the difference in her she had perked up the eyes had brighten up back to being the barky girl. She still runs around the park but slower she is putting weight down on the bad leg and is starting to get a little bit of muscle legs are still a bit out of cordination but she is back to enjoying life and eating well. So hopefully she will be around for another 12 months. I know I am on borrowed time and at the moment we are having bonus times so am enjoying however much time we have together. It is hard to watch the once very active dog aging. I also have an 11 year old border collie but she is still active and doesnt show signs yet but that can come at any time though.
