Just back home from Port Pirie Obedience trial. Thanks to Gina for a great weekend and Duncan as well had an absolute ball. It was a double obedience trial on the saturday and one trial on the sunday. Had Gabby, Inka and my part time border collie Islay Gabby was in UDX, UD and Open in the first trial. Didnt go into the box again and won both Open and UD. Inka handled by Gina passed and my little part time girl Islay in CCD won the class with 98 points. Islay is scared of her own shadow so too work like she did I am so rapped with her. The afternoon was a tad quieter Gabby had UD and Open and she won both classes again and Inka passed open. Little Islay was only in the morning trial only. Sunday morning got a pass in UDX Woohoo but we missed a drop position and went off and did a seekback oops so only got 172 though so hopefully we are on a roll. Won open but we stuffed up articles and Inka stuffed the retrieve over hurdle. Conditions were really bad with long grass and mud everywhere.

Had a weekend of obedience and agility trialing.With one owner being very sick. Saturday we had our obedience competition nearly got a pass in udx only lost 3 points up to change of positions and young Gabby has decided dont know how to drop never done it before. In ud yep we stuffed up the silent signal and didnt drop twice. The good news was that we got 199 in open losing 1 point for crook sit in the retrieve on the flat. Today we had agility and managed 4 qualies all with first places woohoo. the other 4 runs well between me and Gabby we managed to stuff it up. Not bad considering that my dogs dont work if I am sick lol

Just had to put my brag in This weekend we had our State Obedience Championship and I am proud to say that Gabby is the 2014 State UDX and Rally Excellent Champion and the Top Dog Club as well But the best is that Gabby managed a pass in that elusive class of UDX with a great score of 194 and that is her third leg only another 2 more to go. Another obedience trial on saturday so hopefully another pass

Just back from Southern Districts Obedience Trial. Well we managed to do the seekback and we managed to do the towels but those pesky cones nope couldnt find them at all. Not a happy chappy but than she worked her socks of and got 195 and first in open and 190 and first in ud but managed to get a substantial in the silent signals by not doing a drop. Another trial in two weeks time so we shall see what happens there.

I dont know about that Tassie still dont have confidence on the scent work especially the towels one min she is brilliant and than its like she hasnt done it at all That is what cost me she lost 8 points

We had our first obedience trial for the year and Gabby was in UDX, UD and Open. Very proud of her. We finally got through udx with a pass of 184 one short of the 185 points needed for a pass in Grand Champion. Also got a second in both open and utility. Only problem if she didnt do some silly things to loose points like laying down in the box lol Very proud of my girlie

well cant find it so here goes got two passes in udx only 1 counted for Grand Champion need only another 3 more passes. So that is going to take awhile if its going to be a one pass a year. On the bright side she did become the state udx champion though We dabbled in rally and got both novice and advanced title and won top novice rally in the SACA Awards Tomorrow night for NYE competing in my first excellent rally We also dabbled in dancing with dogs and got our dancing with dog starter freestyle title. Might help if I pull my hand out and start finding a song and costume and go into the next class.

Hi there I found where my girl is like that shove the tablet down as far without being bitten lol and than giving them bits of cheese or whatever yummy they sort of forget the tablet and start eating the food and than swallowed it. Good luck

There are a lot of funny stories here but the idea of tossing up between a Malinois and Mastiff really has me laughing :laugh: Well you know they do have similarities... they both have paws for instance, and they can both be a fawn colour... I'm sure there must be more :laugh: and they both start with "M" lol

Have to say you did look cute Ness and Kenzie Congratulations on your pass today and do have to say that was a cracker of a jump in line with Gabby's brother attempt at that jump lol My brag for today is both of my girls got there advance titles Gabby got 100 first place and her title and the arvo 99 and first place. Inka got 95 in the morning and the arvo got 98 and second place. The best bit was that I managed to not stuff up and read the signs correctly and not losing any points for my dogs lol

I did write something on here a couple of days ago and dont know what happened but I am glad to say that we still have a dry bum and dry bed so I am hoping that was what it was. Might add poor Inka is not impressed with the bum inspection though just gives me this funny look lol so hopefully that was what it was thanks guys hopefully this one will work

lol that was the one sudafed couldnt think of it. She is dry at the moment so I'm not sure if she was having a lovely chew and left the mark cause she was dry in the back end. Did see her having a good chew but didnt think anything of it thoughtl Just a lovely wet patch on a light grey mat in her bed. Have checked again tonight and she is still dry. Not very impressed that I keep checking out the back end so there may be a visit to the vet so shall see what happens tomorrow. thanks guys shall let you know what is happening but it was sudafed that I was thinking of though

Hi Guys I know this has been said quite a few times and I did have a search but I couldnt find anything but was wondering what people gave there dogs for this problem. I know stillbistrol was used but have heard its not good dont know if its true or not but there was something that you could get from the chemist and only need to give a half tablet that helped and I cant remember what it was called not sure if it had something to do with cold and flu tablets or what thanks guys

oh thanks guys. At the moment we are in Whyalla a country town doing agility and jumping so we will see how we go lol

We have just finished the Adelaide Royal Show and what a week my Gabby girl had. I am so proud of her. First night we had JDM first place JDO first place. The second night we had ADM and had a slight hiccup about when to go into tunnels and when not to go into tunnels and preferably to listen to my commands lol but made up with a win in ADO she just flew my poor little brain had to work overdrive lol. We had a bash in Rally Advance A and won that class just needs another pass and I managed to only loose 3 points and not 30 lol. We than had UD and Gabby won that class and than open forgot how to drop in the recall and only lost 3 points up to than. We also ended up on tv on the channel 7 weather that they were doing live. Gabby was doing tricks So proud of my Gabby girl. Off to Whyalla tomorrow with Gabby and Inka
