We just had an agility trial last night. Was especially impressed with my little baby Gabby. She was entered in 4 classes and passed all 4 classes. ADM she got her very first pass with a first place, her 6th pass in JDM with a 2nd, JDO with a first and ADO a second beaten by her sister Inka that got a first. Xena who is 11 was only entered in 2 classes got a second in JDO and we did have a horrible run in JDM and got a 6th. We do have another agility trial and a games trial for the rest of the year and hopefully I can get my JDM

See you down there tonight -
Congratulations to all the people at WA on their results especially Deb and Brooklyn with 2 200 points. Can only dream to get that. Congratulations Dova told you, you could do it with both dogs congratulations also Zug Zug and DogSportObsessed and anyone else that I have missed. Well I had a great weekend. Yesterday we had an agility and games trial held at Para Districts. My young coolie Gabby was in her first master agility and jumping run and got her first qualli in master jumping . Master agility well we have forgotten how to do weavers arghhh :p we also got a qualli in gambler excellent which is number 4. Forget about snooker. Inka got a qualli in open agility, master jumping, master gamblers which we got a first it was an awesome run and a pass in snooker master but the best news of the day was my 11 year old coolie Xena got her snooker master qualli which gave her title. Xena is the first in SA to get all of her master titles in games. I am so proud of her she has done some first during her career like being the first udx in SA and being the first to get her Agility and Obedience champion title. what a girl. Today at Dover after a hard day yesterday Xena passed both open with 194 and in ud with 187 both with first places Inka got a first in ud with 179 she was a bit naughty stopping in her heelwork and only getting 19 but in open she was sitting on 197 and did the sit stay but than stuffed the drop stay she decided to scratch dont know if she got bitten. Gabby was working brilliantly in ud only loosing 6 points but than decided the boring biscuit was nice and ate it. At the end of the trial Xena won the highest scoring Dover Dog and not to be out done Inka had to win the highest scoring non qualifying score. Xena also won the scent hurdle event. What a weekend and next week doing it again with 2 agility trials

Hi Even though my girls are in early being working breeds they only did go in the ring when they were ready. Gabbys CCD score was 99,98,and 96 and that was she was afraid of this particular judge. Dont know why. All my girls understand what there job is and they are very consistent with high scores normally in the 190's. But like people said there is no rush you put them in when they are ready. When they are young I do break up the exercise to little bits so they understand.

Hi My current dog Gabby I started to trial her in CCD at 9 months. She is now 26 months old and has her UD title. She started her Agility career in June at 22 months old and has her ADX and JDX and her GD and 3 legs of her GDX and 1 leg of novice snooker. Xena my nearly 11 year old dog Cant quite remember when I started CD but I know I had her in UD at 20 months and she is still competing competitively still and I had her in agility at 18 months and by the time she was 20 months had her title. My 7.5 year old border collie Inka I had her in the trial and she had her UD title by the time she was 2 and started her agility at 22 months

Congratulations to DogSportObsessed on your CCD. Was a long day yesterday. Also Ness on your near pass that is coming around the corner and Rivsky Congratulations on your first pass. Think your waiting for the big one at the Nationals LOL Well we were at the trials yesterday and today. Xena my 11 year old had passed both Utility classes yesterday with a 190 and first place and what would have been 194 and first place but ended up losing 3 points for a dead dog and for her rubbing her nose on the grass. So it took us back to 191 and second as I lost on the countback and we also passed today with another first place in UD with 189. Inka was sitting on 193 and lay down in the sit stays. Those blasted stays think they should have it banned but in the afternoon she got another 193 and did the sit stay with another first place. Received 2 15 kilo bags of Proplan. Today we got another pass in open with 190 and first place but yet again I lost another 3 points for her being restless in the drop stay she was fidgeting alot arghhhhhhh. Also I think Dova has something to say I am surprised though that she hasnt been on hear yet????

Hi Spotted Devil. Yep I am over the moon. Gabby has been a joy to train she just loves working. We had a little problem with the articles and I have sorted them out. I think she has got her title under 10 trials. She had started trialling in ud at the end of July. Am proud of her. Her agility is going great guns as well. She is fast but in control. She started her agility career in June long weekend and has her AD JD ADX JDX 2 legs of her open jumpers GD title 3 legs of her GDX and 1 leg of SD. She competed at the Royal Show and won both novice and open jumpers. She is absolutely brilliant. My other girls are too.

Hi Guys Just got back from the Royal competing in both obedience and agility. My border collie passed in open with a score of 183 and second place(would have got a higher score but we moved 3 feet and did dead dog in drop stay lost 5 points for the stay and 3 points for the stand) My young coolie Gabby that has just turned 2 competed in both open and novice agility and jumping. Unfortunately in open agility she jumped out of the weavers and in the novice agility I was concentrating so hard on the weavers I forgot to use my shoulder to direct her to the tunnel and she jumped a jump instead oops. but tonight we both got our acts together and won both open jumping and novice jumping. She done the open jumping in 25 seconds with a 39 second course and novice in 16 seconds that was 36 seconds. I'm so proud of her. cheers Danni
