Good luck guys
-
lol its the same when you only train once a week and not doing all the exercises lol
-
lol I think I could be called a lazy trainer and only trained once a week and slowly working my way through as her other exercises are pretty good so I do a yucky one and finish off with one that she enjoys but I have been doing lots more and bring my towels off to agility training so my towels and seekback is about 3 times a week and trying different things in training
-
Well we have just got back from a mock trial to try and sort out this problem towels and seekback and you wouldnt believe it but the bugger passed. Why cant she do it at a proper trial. Did the seekback like a pro 27 39 for pim 27 for towels 30 for the sendaways 28 for the cop and 15 for the multi retrieve and we kept them in her mouth arghhhh this is so frustrating oh and we also cant do drop on recalls now as we must go pass me and she did it again so at least I could stop here
-
Just one of these days Blasted seekback and towels the frustrating thing is that she is doing it at training. Dont know where that automatic finish came from but it started last week. oh well there is always another trial like they say. oh and by the way Ness no yellow daisy flowers there just lovely green grass
-
Well we had an obedience trial today and ummmm we are back to square 1 cant do the seekback and cant do the towels. Got the correct one and cant bring it back to me. We do it all in training but not in the ring arghhh. brilliant pim 37 30 for the sendaway 29 for change of posiitions and 11 for both multi retrieve cause we cant keep it in her mouth without having the dropsies. Went into open and we did an automatic finish in the drop on recall. Have to wait till the next one

Yes totally agree bloody stays!!!!!
-
Well done Tassie and Kirra. You oldies show them how its done
-
Lol very naughty little girl considering I only do fronts and no finishes but hey at least Inka did her sit stay and her drop stay without going walkies and the scary thing was that half of the dogs lay down in the sit stay and she still managed to stay sitting lol

Well we just got back from an obedience trial and I was really happy with little Gabby even though we didnt pass udx but we actually did the seekback yippee!!!!! was a tad excited about that. We didnt really want to pick it up and than she did and flew back to me but we still didnt have the confidence for the towels she went and picked it up straight away moved 2 paces towards me dropped it to the ground and stopped and that was it. That was the only exercise she stuffed up so proud of her we got 27 for the seekback 30 for the PIM we sort of missed a drop 0 for the towels 28 for the sendaway 29 cop and 14 and 11 for the multi retrieve.lol the second retrieve she spotted a piece of white paper which I didnt see or the judge but little miss did and took of in that direction and got caught up in the rope which scared her but than decide obviously that wasnt where you should go and went and found it so lost 4 points Was very naughty in open and did a lovely automatic finish in the drop on recall. Inka was naughty in ud and decided metal was that flavour of the day for articles and picked up two of them for the both trys so retired her and she got second in open with 193 after winning the countback and we also won the team event. Next weekend having another bash at udx so that shall be interesting
-
Congratulations Kallistar and Tux on your passes and now onto a pass in UDX lol Also Ness and Kenzie on your title Hey Ness did anyone pass udx over the weekend

9th October is the next trial. We only have a few more till the end of the year. Hopefully we can get one pass.

Oh well done guys! Well we are back to the drawing board again. Didnt do the seekback idicated and went off and bought the decoy towels bought the right one correctly and than dropped it half way arghhh. Forgot to sit in the changes of positions too busy playing with the flys and did the wrong article . Later on with a friend we went into the ring as he was going to see if he could help and she did a brilliant seekback indicated the right one checked out the decoy and went back to the correct one. Oh well we will keep on trying we will get there eventually But well done Ptolomy and Scoota

We have a competition tomorrow but I dont think we are going to do very well. Last week did a training session and she wont touch my article at all. After when we did other work she got out of her I dont know what you would call it and did them brilliantly. Hadnt done anything since as I was sick but went out in the yard and she did them without a problem and tomorrow its going to be like oh my god its poison cant possible touch that one. Will let you know tomorrow

Well that was good Ness its so hard at the Royal. There was no passes in ud either one border was on a pass and broke the stays. Open was much better but its hard for the newies though Glad the DWD went well

Congratulations RS Just finished our week of Adelaide Royal Show and boy what a busy week. Had been down there for the last 9 nights. Friday night we had jumpers and little Gabby won master jumping and just missed out in open jumping at the second to last jump didnt quite make it around the corner and missed the jump. Saturday night we had agility on and young Gabby won both master and open agility so was quite proud of her. Inka did the obedience and stuffed up Ud was too excited too concentrate. So didnt do the second article and did the silent signals on her on. Thursday night we had open and Inka won open with 190 points. All the other nights we were in the main arena doing Superdogs. So it has finally finished for another year. Hey Ness how did you go last night. Couldnt get down there too see the novice and CCD busy on the main arena unfortunately
-
Well I had to put my brag in. Just finished our second night at the Royal Show and little Gabby won master and open agility and master jumping. She did the master agility in 33 sec in a 60 sec course. So proud of her

Well today we had another udx trial and even though we had failed I was pleased with her though. She finally did her seekback went to the start peg came back with it and than stood in front of me. did pim 35 and than the towels she got the correct one was very confident with it came back stood in front spat it out and ran back to the pile looking for it. Did the sendaway lovely and also change of positions but did the wrong article instead of 1 went to 2.At least today we looked like knowing what we are doing and she was very happy. Going to be ages before we get into another trial though
-
oops forgot to add can you send the guru to adelaide please

well where did she go than cause she didnt visit me than. Had 2 trials over the weekend. Went to a country trial up at the riverland was nice probably too nice for the girls as they had a lovely relaxing weekend. Gabby Still wont do the seekback first day went and retrieved beautiful for the decoy and the second day nope cant find it but in practice does it beautiful arghhhh. First day refused to sit in pim so took her out second day got 38 for it so continued onto the towels well she gets the correct one comes half way and decides nah might put this one onto the ground and ummm go and get an incorrect one and flew into me with that one with the tail wagging furiously what!!!!! Went into ud both days and Gabby got 194 2nd first day and was quite naughty the next day with 179 got a couple of subs. Inka did her open and ud both days but I think she left the brain behind though. Open on the first day did a beautiful drop on recall on her own pity I didnt get a chance to say anything though. she passed ud 182 with 1st place. 2nd day she was sitting on 192 in ud and 194 in open and we cant do the drop stay. Like how hard is it too lay there. As I was going out the ring she got up had a chew looked at the other dogs sat for awhile than stood and than lay down. She did it in both drop stays. Good ol Xena was in veterans and won that class with someone else handling her lol

Well I dont know what you guys do to the towel fairy but she did come and than had disappeared before she did her job very unfair if you ask me We did do the seekback but she wasnt happy and she didnt want to go back to the start peg and she just took ages went to it about 5 times before she picked it up so got pinged really bad 19. PIM we have had lots of problems with this exercise and I think we have got this one sorted out and she got 38. The towels she got the correct one came half way and dropped and went off and got another towel Sendaway she got 29 and chamge of position 28. The multi retrieve she stuffed up for the first time in a long time and instead of going to no 1 she went to no 2. the second article did correctly and got 13 but we do have another problem arghh. When we have the article and dont manage to move it in her mouth and keeps it still she drops it and when she moves it around she keeps it in her mouth. So I am working on that one as well at the moment I am sort of letting her doing it and am hoping it will extinguish itself and at home I am just getting her to hold and click but she seems to be fine when she is standing still or very close up but once you put distance in she starts mouthing arghhh Next week we will be having a mock trial so she will be in there and the following week we will have a double obedience trial Today at the trial we got our first Grand Champion
-
Thanks Bedazzledx2. Hopefully we will get somewhere on sunday
-
This is so frustrating. Went out training today and Gabby had done a seekback a sendaway and the towels all brilliantly and on sunday nope couldnt do it. Oh well let see if she can do it on sunday
-
Hi guys this got a bit quiet. Hasnt anyone been trialling in udx. We just had our trial today well the towel fairy well she visited in the morning and than took of before the trial started. We didnt do the seekback even though we indicated that it was the decoy and she knew she shouldnt pick it up but she refused to go to the start peg or go anywhere in that direction . But we did do PIM though and got 38 considering I had so much problems with the sit and stand. Towels nope not interested in the judges but the position she got full marks and directed retrieve 14 and 15 and the sendaway she just sat outside mis aimed. Next week we have another trial. oh Inka won open with 193 and she did her sit stay
