Nacho had two before I picked him up (Protech C3). My vet wanted to give him a 3rd just in case but I discussed it with his breeder and decided not to. He'll have another in 12 months and then that's it. From Dogs Vic

I'm still waiting for Moose and Nacho to get along and it's been 2 months. :laugh: Moose is becoming more tolerable each week but it has been a slow process. Puppies are super duper annoying so it's to be expected. They are okay unsupervised but only when we're home and not for long periods of time. They're kept separate when we're out. I feed mostly BARF (it makes up about 90% of their diet) but I do give the dogs a small amount of dry in the morning. I feed Artemis and it doesn't have any of the ingredients you mention. Good luck in your search!

Food for thought, thanks Steve. Zoe is on a course of cartrophen now anyway so I might scale back the RHVC until I finish this tub and then go from there.

Just from my own experience, I've found the male male combo to be the most challenging. Having said that though, I think it's more to do with personality and we are getting there, slowly! :laugh:

I'm very sorry to read about Raiden, Lhok, you must be heartbroken.

My dogs are home alone for about 8 - 9 hours a day. Nacho worried a bit the first couple of days after I went back to work but I had been leaving him alone for stints while I was on holidays, he just mostly sleeps now although whenever I check the webcam some of his toys or his kong have moved around lol. Maybe take him for a big walk to tire him out before you leave and give him a kong. Also don't make a huge fuss when you leave or come back. Nacho doesn't get let out of his pen until he's calmed down a bit so he knows comings and goings are not a huge deal. I leave the TV on too. They love Dr Phil.

Yep:-) Thank you. :) Zoe had to have a cartrophen injection yesterday and will have one a week for the next 4 weeks. She's also on Meloxicam for a week. She's been limping a lot this week on her left front leg and seemed uncomfortable. It's hard to tell with her as she barely expresses pain, I don't think I've ever heard her yelp! Vet suspects progressing arthritis as there's some thickening to the elbow and shoulder joints but will reassess at each visit. He said to keep up with the RHVC as it may still help too.

I've heard of "teacup" Chihuahuas... teeny tiny ones.... I think I got a "salad bowl" Chihuahua. :laugh: PS. Zoe is such a mum.

Has anyone noticed if the RHVC has made their dogs poop have a reddish tinge? I'm not too worried as I broke it up and I'm sure it's not blood but just wondering if it could be the RHVC.

Nacho gets left in a pen with his crate attached but he's also in the same room as the other dogs. :)

+1 for Nacho for doing a vomit in his crate at 6.30am rather than 3am. -1000000 for doing it on a Sunday.

I don't think there have been any obstruction cases since they changed the formula over 5 years ago. I give bones regularly and the odd Greenie, but not often.

Nacho has a puppy kong. He has a pretty strong bite but the kong holds up well, they're pretty tough. :)

First day back at work today after 3.5 weeks off. I've been checking on Nacho on the webcam and he's being a good boy and sleeping. I left him with his Suggle Puppy (among other things) but it's already been turfed out of his crate. :laugh:
