I told u all that Kreppy got desexed the day Leigh got her needle,WELLLLLLLLLLLLL Kreepy had a sore foot,has had it over 1 mth,they said they might have to cut it open,i coudnt afford that,as it turned out she has dermitize on her feet.they were *red raw* coudnt we tell ?? (it was cheaked when she had her needle 1 mth proir-so 1 mth before they had looked as well) Well no,they were black to us (Min her sister has DER as well) SO today im rubbing cream on her feet,and i managed to get RIGHT UP in the pad/under the nails,and PULLED A BURR OUT,im ringing the vet right now PAST VET !

and that my friend is TRUE ! (im Trish really-i coudnt get it in :rolleyes: Rish, people aren't picking on you exactly but this is a public forum with lots of different opinions so you have to expect that people will tell you exactly what they think. It's not like having a chat with a friend who will avoid saying something that may hurt your feelings.. like it or not, you will find that most people here will tell it like it is. This is not necessarily a bad thing though and it means that you will get some pretty raw and honest advice I hope your pup is ok and I agree with the others - you definetly need a new vet asap!

it was a 300mg,+ when daniel was small i *thought* he popped a panadol,he didnt,but had to have bloods to make sure,it shuts down there kidneys /liver I never knew it was safe/they took them ? i just re-acted as i did when dan did it why would the vet would pump her belly over 1 aspirin it is actually safe to give to dogs.

Leight had her last (4 the year) needle on Friday,while kreepy was being desexed. Leight was brought home,and i had a migrain,i dropped 1 disprin and !!woff!! she ate it ,straight back to the vet,belly pumped out and watched 4 the day. They can be so fast ! BTW_thank all for hints on tolit training,she just *got it* 1night and hasnt had a accedent yet Also BTW,i seem to get picked up on how i raise my dogs,i have been raising them since i was 15,i am now 46,and not so healthy,with a active 10 y old boy, come here for advice and i have taken it,u have helped,but maybe some of the help could have been said with a smile/hug ? I stopped slapping,and it helped,but i will never keep a solid dog when she showes aggression that i cant control/scares even me. I was not mean,we made sure she went to a great home,we dont all have to agree,but i do also think i could have called somebody but the vet before it got to bad,but as yet,i wasnt here getting help. I say all this with kindness. and thank u all again,im staying here as i get great advice,thoug mine seems to be out-grown

actually we sold her,she was 5 mths old,and the biting was getting worse,nothing the vet said helped,and i didnt want a stoned dog,she was pretty much jelouse of *us* the parents,she now lives up the road,is a outside dog and is happy. So YES i got rid of her because she bit,a child Vs a dog,the child wins every time

We had to sell our ROTTI pup,she went all aggro on us,looked mean when we went off at our son ! When she bit 1 time to many (hard) she was out of here (kids and all) We took VETs advice on her( 1 was to drug her-we didnt do that) desex her ect0ring vet) ,but 1 thing we have since learnt,she slept on our bed,bringing her UP to our leval,Leigh now sleep on the floor. I hope ur problem is solved

Thanks ALL for ur help,Leigh is a LAB,and its seems she is marking her terrotory and also we have made the greatest error is letting her sleep in bed with us/Daniel,she is starting to think she is at our level (as she is growing) so is not doing as she is told. So its all simply taking her outside every hour on the hour,she startes puppy school in March,so that will be great! Thank u all

Leight has started to pee on the beds,1st mine,then my daughters and now Daniels,we take her outside,she does NOTHING for 20 more minets and then will come in a pee in frount of us !!!,what is going on here !!. Last night it was Danels bed,after she did t,she got off (it was moring ) and peed again in frount of Hubby . Firm "NO'es" are given,and she is left outside (no-more slaps) ........ What s hang ? any clues will be helpful

:laugh: : :rolleyes: :) Rish- When you buy a puppy from a registered breeder you are not paying $1000 for a 'puppy' You are paying for a companion who has been fed, vaccinated, wormed and cared for, vet checked and given a clean bill of health. You are also paying for a puppy who's parents have been screened for genetic disease and have been carefully bred to produce the healthiest of pups. You are paying not for the kennels 'name' or reputation but for life-long support from a breeder who wants the best possible homes for each and every puppy they breed. All these things cost a great amount of time and money. Getting a pup from a back-yard breeder or puppy farm who breeds with no regards for their dogs welfare is not a 'bargain', pure bred or not. You may have saved a few hundred dollars now but it could cost thousands in vet bills later down the track. Buying from these people only encourages them to breed more... I am not saying that you dont love your dogs, you obviously care about them and want to share their story with the world, but please dont buy from people like this EVER again. Look after your dogs, be kind to them, and dont let then suffer like their parents. Hopefully they will be lucky and not suffer from any major health probs. You mentioned that 2 have skin conditions... have they been checked for fleas, mites, lice etc? There is a good chance that they may have something like this if they have come from a BYB. Try bathing them in a soothing sensitive skin shampoo and conditioner from your vets and get them checked out if you haven't already. i am pleased i got them,i woudnt buy from a "farmer" but whats wrong with buying from the back yard ? Unless a puppy was bred by a registered breeder and has pedigree papers from their states canine council you can never really tell if it is a pedigree. Sounds like you are pleased you bought your dogs from backyard breeders or puppy farmers.

I have told u about Leigh,she was brought for my son,but has taken to me,well here is alittle story. My dearheart died after 14years about a year ago,so finally i was ready for a new 1,we knocked on the door and 3 puppies were brought out (app,they mate them to death!) i got to pick the cutest pure white 1 (bitch) 1 male was left with a ugly female. Well MinMin has turned out to be a full breed Maltise terrier !!! ,the vet said it can happen in about %99.9,funny thing is,my son went and brought the UGLY dog for his sister,called Kreepy,she makes the 3rd of my girls,she has legs that dont stop and ugly hair and is the most lovable unbiased dog iv ever met (Daughter had to move),while my MInMIN loves my husband. I tried t d/l some pics of all-and the camera doesnt d/l to the prog im running So now u know my 3 girls,2 with skin conditions !

The girls are going to cost $199 for 1 and $159 for the other. If it were $400,i would be crying

that post made my day !!!! , Leiht is also Teethng,so im off t by a big bone-ll 3 so they all get 1 (she ate 3 pig ears in 5 minets !) still cant get her to tolit outside ,and she started to having firm bowel movements,but now again the runs (try picking that up with tolit paper !) so if she is still runny bu saturday,i will take a sample to the vets

we got our pup Kreepy off my daughter (she is sister to 1 of our's) My daughter is in a volitiol patnership,anyhow,we had Kreepy for about 3 mths and my daughter took her for a sleep-over,we had to go pick her up cause she keept crying,that night she wet our bed (where she sleeps) the next time she seen our DD and partner,she wet it again-2 times in 1 night ! (i was clueing in now !) 1 more time it happened and i relized totally that she was scared they were taken her (she was well looked after,but the yelling is beyond normal) They are both staying her n\right now,and Kreepy is OK,we hugged her heaps and it was fine,yesterday they had a loud fight,Kreepy was very skittish-but didnt wet. Something may be now scaring ur dog,something maybe that ur not hearing because ur asleep ?? maybe a roaring car that comes home at 2am.......... iv no suggestion of how u can help,but i think she is scarred
