I am definately no expert on GSDs or protection dogs, but being someone who when looking for a pet goes through the DOL listings. I see no problem with it, I see too many of the wrong people owning GSDs especially the working line ones. These dogs were obviously bred for something specific and their breeder is advertising them in that way. I would look at the add and think ooop working line GSD too much for me and continue looking.

my girl is insanely reactive so i usually move her onto a driveway and ask her to sit because its the only way to let other people past on the path while they have their dog on 2m of lead and im holding my girl by the collar i cannot stand people with offlead dogs on paths because it makes my life horrible! my girl needs a lot of on lead walking to even make her pant im lucky we have moved into an area where more people have dogs, but they are also more responsible! our old area was horrible for dogs wandering. but people dont seem to understand my insanely adorable girl can turn into an absolute monster (hackles raised teeth bared walking funny) at the sight of another dog

I use a martingale collar on my heeler, because I have found they are one of the only collars she cant break or get out of. She has one of the Rogz ones She was trained using a check chain but only needs a small reminder every now and again of her manners and i find the martingale does this perfectly

the one of her looking in the window was pure fluke, my aunt was inside and i was outside with the dog and she was just staring inside poor old girl is blind and deaf =( My cat is probably the most photogenic of all my animals but she doesnt tend to do much haahah and the aviators was basically just me being bored and the dog suffering (he is blind) to have comments from you ruthless and gila saying they are nice is great XD cos i love your photos I am still very much learning
