  1. i have always wanted to teach maizy to speak. but im afraid if i do she wont shut up lol
  2. you can't tell me she doesn't know roll over! lol
  3. train Ruby or Millie to weave through your legs that is everyones favourite trick of maizys
  4. I am over 2 weeks early but oh well hahaha
  5. I never thought of Dougal! Once I have gotten her to the point where I am confident to handle her near dogs we will be right, its my confidence that is lacking more than anything. She doesn't react half as bad when she is with my stepdad. So until I know I wont freak out, I wont be taking her near other dogs.
  6. I'll need to progress onto friendly non dominant dogs later on (probably males) so mason will probably be a big help in a few months time
  7. I am going to wait a few more weeks and pick my lecturers brain about how to deal with her, cos I think maizy is more severe than the dog I have been working with (since she has actually done damage)
  8. Emery I live fairly far north hahaha Wanneroo to be exact!!! I wish I lived closer to the grounds so I could do training and stuff! I was going past there the other night on a tuesday and wondered what would be going on but decided not to drop by I am going to have to ask a favour of someone experienced soon as well, we are doing alot of training at tafe at the moment with dog aggressive dogs and I really want to work on Maizy with the methods we are using. But I dont have a 'stouge' dog I can use (one that wont react to her or show any interest) it would all be onlead of course! we have a long way to go with her but I would love her to able to atleast go on a walk in peace. I don't think I will be able to convince my parents a behaviorist is the way to go but I am half way to becoming an accredited trainer myself and have made a lot of progress with a dog aggressive dog at tafe that my confidence to throw myself in and work on maizys problems has gotten a lot better
  9. I might try and make it out to the agility on sunday! will see how I go
  10. I started with her just after she did that shoot! I was so spewing, wish I had of been there when she did it hahaha I am hoping she lands another job like that and I get to tag along (she knows how much I love dogs, I spent most of my time when I was at hers playing with her dog hahaha)
  11. the lady who did the guide dogs photo shoot is the one I am doing work experience with
  12. my friends three chihuahuas will jump on one of those things into their pool, sucks when your happily floating and all of a sudden you feel BANG the smallest of the three will actually swim out as well ahha
  13. Maiz is more than easy to train! Unless something else with 4 legs comes by :D
  14. I don't think any dog breed should be classified for first time owners only, only for owners willing to put the time and effort into the dog
  15. Perry's paddock is a definate!!! If anyone knows what dates are free next month in the showing calender be sure to let me know =D
  16. This one is a bit far for me I think
  17. City of Wanneroo I think is fairly easy to get the three dogs (should just move here so I can steal Ruby)
  18. Happy Birthday Ricky!!! Heres to her going strong at an amazing age!
  19. RIP little Vader, Thinking of both the breeders and the family to be
  20. another vote for Noah, I think it would suit a little Basenji boy
  21. I got my girl from a BYB before I knew any better, now I wouldn't touch people who breed their dogs like that with a ten foot pole and I am quite against BYBers and try to educate people before I just insist they are stupid for breeding their Staffy which is feral with next doors Staffy x
  22. Rach's parents?? (and convince Maizy a third dog wouldn't be for eating)
