I am quite enjoying it. It isn't anything that amazing or ground breaking but it is good to see how someone whit her background and experience goes about training. I think you learn a lot more from watching the videos that you would from reading about it in a book.

You have to make them a cake!!!! There are some good recipes around for liver cakes and other yummy things for dogs. Add some cream cheese icing and sprinkle with liver flakes and the dogs will go nuts for it.

PLEASE dont leave it. Can you imagine the pain you would be in with a nerve exposed!!! Dogs do amazing things to hide pain from us so even when you say she doesn't APPEAR to be in pain she is!! I saw Christine from http://www.sydneypetdentistry.com.au/ who is AMAZING just to get fractured baby teeth removed on my pup (that my regular vet said could be left). My pup was still eating and playing, but I could see after that she had been in pain and just soldiering on. Christine is more than happy for people to ring her to discuss what their dog needs- so give her a ring if your not confident. A GA is worth having your dog not spend the next few weeks with a constant headache. In reality this is NOT something you can leave. I second this. Christine is amazing and incredibly nice and helpful. Giver her a call to discuss. If the pulp of the tooth is exposed then infection can get in there and end up cause MAJOR issues. Much better to get it out so your pup isn't in pain and you don't have any future complications!

Grab a bag of Artemis Osopure Power Formula (http://www.pookinuk.com.au/artemis-osopure-power-formula.html) and put him on that plus some rice and mince. You'll have no trouble putting some weight on him and he will get everything he needs.

My girls pretty much always sleep on the bed. Sometimes there is a bit of competition though as to who gets to go where. In summer Fable often gets a bit hot and moves to the floor after a while.

Jsut got around to watching the webinar. Was pretty interesting. The program actually looks kinda cool. How often do you get to see a top trainer going about there thing for a whole year. For the price it was a no brainer. All singed up

Naki’o: The First Dog With Four Prosthetic Paws
StarLapyz replied to Bjelkier's topic in In The News
Wow. That is incredibly cool. Love that we can do stuff like that now. -
Agree with this, much better to change what is already there instead of reinventing the wheel. I don't think there is much benefit to splitting up the dog community into even smaller groups either.

Where To Get Nikon Lens Serviced - Sydney

Nikon still support these so you can send it back to them to get looked at. Probably your best bet. Cheers -
We got some results for the boys over the weekend. The good news is Cahill (black) is clean of Haemophilia. the bad news is little Mr Yellow has been diagnosed as severe with <1% of the normal factor 8 levels. The confusing thing about it all is, with those levels, he really shouldn't still be with as and should be having regular spontaneous bleeds. He certainly shouldn't have clotted when blood was taken or form the big gash in the top of his month. At the moment our vet (and no one else we ask) can explain it to us so we are just keeping him quiet and seeing how he goes. He is really happy and loving his life at the moment. We should get results for the girls today.

http://www.vetnpetdirect.com.au/LIVA Livamol is a vitamin and energy supplement. Queue marketing information:- "he nutritionists at International Animal Health Products set themselves the task of combining high available energy with quality protein, in one product. The result is LIVAMOL®. Using a unique technique for transforming liquid molasses into a convenient powder form, LIVAMOL® was created by the fusion of the 'Dried Molasses' as it was called, with prime protein meals. Cod Liver Oil, Calcium and Phosphorus and essential Vitamins and Minerals. The result is a rich palatable meal which is appealing to the animal. The ingredients in LIVAMOL® include include a range of protein meals, molasses, pollard, limestone DCP and Cod Liver Oil. To this are added the trace elements Iron, Manganese, Zinc, Iodine, Cobalt, Copper and Vitamins A,D,B1,B2,B6 AND B12. The result is a concentrated and nutritious conditioning feed additive suitable for all animals and birds. LIVAMOL® is especially appropriate for show animals, for young and convalescent individuals. The unique combination of ingredients in LIVAMOL® has a positive effect on coat condition and colour." I just add a tablespoon to breakfast for each of the dogs, adds some energy, some good vitamins and minerals and they really like the taste.

Have had a few dogs with PetPlan and had no issues getting them to pay out on claims. A couple of grand a few times with no hassles or arguments or anything.

I add vitamin E oil and Livamol. I find the dogs have a nicer coat if they are added.

Another quick update. Kane (yellow) is doing well and currently living away from the other puppies with his mother, who is super gentle with him. The other boy has gone to his forever home (new owner being made fully aware of the situation and decided to take him anyway) and is doing really well there with no signs of being affected. We are still trying to find forever homes for two of the girls, all of the girls are definitely unaffected. The test from teh US should tell us who are carriers though so we can make sure they get desexed and removed from the breeding pool. Blood are in the US and we are expecting to get results tomorrow. Paws crossed that the results are good

The little man has settled back into home and has his own room all set up for him. We had to spend half the night cleaning up and remodelling the backyard so he has a safe play pen but things are pretty well set up for him now. He is happy and bouncy and enjoying himself and that is the important thing.

yep senior moment . Thanks . No worries. I said exactly the same thing to the vet when she first mentioned stitching it lol. :p

Yes it is more holes to bleed, but the current cut is quite large and deep so the clot has to be quite large and doesn't have anything to 'hang on to'. By stitching it we actually end up with a smaller wound are over all and the clot has something to hold on to, making it harder for him to constantly knock the clot off with his tongue.
