It's early days yet for both of you, making mistakes is part of the learning process, at least your giving it a go. Not many go out in the begining and get quallies straight of, Amypie & Kysar, and Mirrawee and Abbey, are just too good for the rest of us to keep up with.

Woohoo, go Tyson! I think it turned out quiet well, Tyson is a STAR!
-
I think it might be closed by then, don't think they will have training on the grounds that night as equipment will be set up and they won't be allowed to run it with their dogs, thanks though. Besides looks like we will be going out to let our hair down (well just a little) before Thursday.

I would love to come if I was closer Running out of bedrooms, but can give you an airmattress on the lounge floor if you want.

Don't worry Mirawee, I know Banjo plays nice, Toby too, just wanted to let Valley CBR know that we could keep the boys separate if necessary. Hey, we would separate them all while we went out to dinner anyway. Hopefully you can join us, its not often that you get the chance being so far out. Have spoken to J and she's in.
-
That's 3 of us, possiably 4 if J joins us, any other takers? Next questions, time, type of food, place? Valley CBR I know you live out aways too so your welcome to crash here the night with Toby too, as long as he doesn't eat pussycats for breakfast and we don't tell the neighbours I have lots of doggies sleeping over. Only thing will be that as Banjo is a boy dog too if they join us we will have to keep the boys separate, I have crates though and Jenna's bedroom so shouldn't be an issue while we are out and Banjo sleeps with his mum. By the way don't have to be entered in the trial to join us if anyone else wants to come including interstate visitors they are welcome too.

Yep, save the baby. Hey you could always feed the ponies early and stay over so that you don't have to get up so early in the morning. I can warn Cleo that the doggies are comming again. Maybe we should all arrange to go out for dinner on Wednesday night so that we don't have time to be nervous, any takers?

ME FIRST, ME FIRST!!!

Not in on Saturday Valley CBR but hoping to pop down for the PM for a bit after tracking training. Not a problem regarding the Cabana will pick it up then and get your details for picking up your numbers. Have heard that they are setting up the rings about the back of 1 and not permitting people to set up early(before 3) unless they first help set up and complete all rings, also loan cabanas for the interstaters will go up first along with any used by club. Not sure about pushing things with my back at the moment so if they want me to help it will have to be barjumps only. I might also have to wait for J to finish work to help handle the cabanas but I'm pretty sure she finishes early that day, either way we will sort something out. Anyone else going down early, just in case I need to rope in a helper?

Welcome Marmite(Jo) looking at your avatar I can't see that the cuteness factor has worn off with Moe, I think he is very cute, their loss if yours and his gain. We have a regular get together of DOL'ers when time and weather permits at various venues both north and south of the river so feel free to join us anytime as it is great for getting dogs use to socialising and good for us too especially when some DOL'ers decide to bring yummy treats . Even those that are a little shy usually feel quiet relaxed because they are with like minded people and we all have our furkids for support. Details are usually posted in the events section but sometimes it will show up here too. I've included a picture taken at one of our doggie gatherings.

I can bring a crate that Lincoln will fit into Oh and OzJen, do you have a Cabana? Nope, my old striped ones got a busted leg and there is one in no(wo)man's land (shed) but I'm not going in there because it's full of beasties. Probabaly disintergrated by now or been eaten anyway. Note to self, con adult son into clearing out my shed. Will look around and see how the prices are on Sat arvo, depending on how the bank balance is looking versus the bills waiting to be paid. One of the NSW friends will have Jeanette's old cabana to use.
-
Yep, and then you can be closer for me to get Mars Bar slice from you How many gazebos are we going to set up between us? From my understanding we will have OzJen, J and I with 4 dogs, you with 1 (unless Trixie is coming for a visit ), vCBR with 1 (or is Lincoln coming too?), and another one of my friends with 2. So between 8 and 10 dogs. So do you think we only need 3 cabanas or should we set up 4? Might have some eastern states friends there too, not sure yet, they might prefer to sit with their own group.

Yep, like the next oval 8-), zany mongrel that she is. No fair on the showbags. , guess your the lucky one Mirrawee seeing as your doing all the work. Amypie, I can pick up your numbers on Wednesday if you like, yours too Valley CBR (will need you to email me your last name though).

Poor Lilly Just remember this is an open forum guys and you don't know who is reading it so don't be too open with comments on getting around the dog rules, could land you in hot water.

I think she's missing puppy breathe, will just have to get Aussie puppy breathe . Yep, we all need a new showdog (hope Jenna can read this). No pressure or anything Jenna That's ok Mason's mum Jenna's response to preasure is to go in to clown mode. Maybe why she jumped the lounge suite just before giving birth to a belly full of puppies last time. This is the girl I would have liked to have kept from her last litter. Brooklyn is the daddy. She is quiet happy where she is though and her human parents love her to bits, she gets to go to the beach and camping quiet often and ride in the new boat. Spitting image of her daddy or what! Yep! He has strong genes.
-
I can see the photos now They are great Except the one of Abbey shows her missing the last weaver ETA: and also that she missed one earlier since she is coming out the wrong way! She was so over it LOL Never picked that up, see I knew there was more than one reason that you handled Jenna instead of me.

She is lovely, I am slowly warming to the idea is aussie shepherds, I like them loads now after being around Jenna and there are a few at our club too. Hey, Mason's Mum do you know the owners? I have a few pups that went north of the river, maybe one is Jenna/Brooklyn ofspring. They would be black tri's
-
Thanks SparkyTansy, I get to catch up with her when I go to Geraldton shows, her owners are lovely and I couldn't ask for a better home for her.
-
Yep, the two girls I liked the best in the litter where very like Brooklyn. Probabaly part of the reason I liked them as much is that I have always loved Brooklyn, handsome as well as incredably smart.
-
Hope they find this pup and he gets a good home. While yes some dogs do get put down by the RSPCA and I have no idea what sort of numbers we do have to remember that not every dog is rehomeable, be it health, temperment or just not enough homes available. The alternative in keeping all is that those with bad temperments get placed hurt someone and then give all dogs a bad rap, sick or poor tempermented dogs take the home that could have been filled by a healthy dog of good temperment, or dogs that are unhomeable live a life in a dog run never knowing true love and end up going stircrazy from lack of adequate stimulation and attention. I love dogs and all animals for that matter but would rather see them get their wings than live a horriable life in a bad home or live their life in a dogrun at the shelter forever. The RSPCA are not the ones responsiable for all the unwanted dogs but at least they do manage to find homes and help some. They may not be perfect and I for one do not always agree with their decisions but I do see that some parts of their job are necessary if not nice.

No, I think she just know that I want a red/tan show kelpie and I am spoilt Only problem is that we will probably all have new puppies at around the same time so will be competing against each other for group I know that T is planning on breeding Suvi and she is due in any time now, J has already bred P and is still thinking of breeding A so I am sure will end up with a pup from at least one of those litters, you are planning on breeding Jenna when she comes in in June or so (if she behaves this time ) and mother of my pup to be (hopefully) is due in around June as well! That's okay even if you all beat me I'll still be your friend. As long as I get to win sometimes. ;)

LOL I wouldn't even suggest anyone without experience try and run Jenna Abbey is a different story though and for jumping she could pretty well run with anyone... agility is another matter... although maybe a new handler would help with that And hey if I get someone else to run Jenna and Abbey I will have lots of time for my new pup when I get her *quietly slinks away to hide before seeing what reaction that statement gets* ;) AaaGGGHH! Might have to have a word with your mum about this new puppy, have to tell her its a BAD BAD idea .You know you like the challenge and what good practice it is for when your pup is old enough. Besides by the time your pup is ready the girls will probabaly be ready to retire from Agility. Jenna better start behaving better so she can finish titling before you give up on her. ;)
