Kyzer is short enough Actually Amanda's poodle who is just over 350mm is ball mad ;) Banjo could possibly be taught to do flyball but he isn't that ball mad He plays fetch but won't pick up the ball within a metre of me Jenna loves flyball, we tried it when they were trying to get a display team up for the Royal a few years ago, hope its somewhere close and not too expensive so we can give it another go and that it doesn't clash with anything else.

Not sure what the entry is like but usually less there on a Sunday than on the Saturday so I'm guessing the majority of it will be over by 3ish but it varies, general specials will usually be later but most people unless they have gotten through will packup and head home ASAP. You could probabaly call the clubs secretary and get a better idea of time based on entries.

:D ;) Thats OK Amypie, I don't shock that easily, and some friends would tell you I'm more likely to shock others. Mmmm, lotto that would be nice, but you have to be in it to win it. Still money isn't everything, lifes good. :D

:D So we have to cope with prickles as well as those little black ants now? :D Do they want all our agility/obedience dogs to be lame or something ;) Probably, but as long as the pretty ones are fine!! (I know you're a show person too, but couldn't resist ) Hey the showdogs aren't immune to prickles either, when we showed over in the eastern states we actually had to kick up a stink about where they wanted the poor dogs to show, every dog that entered the ring was immediatly crippled with these humungous prickles in their feet and some handlers continued to drag the poor things around the ring. Eventually after threats to scratch the dogs and comments about contacting the RSPCA to report them they eventually set up the ring on the gravel roadway/carpark and the other rings followed suit. Don't care how far we had come to show, there was no way I would subject a dog to that. We are so lucky to have the grounds we do although I do hope they get on top of the prickle situation. After experiencing several eastern states showrings they have good reason to prefer our grounds. ;)

Race ya then ;) Although I can only get to the 13/11, 27/11 and 11/12 (didn't know about the Dec trial). So you will probably get one of your titles at the next two trials ;) OzJen, think positive! She has around 15 months to get it before my 200 dog starts trialling :D Although take 6 months off if she has puppies... She has gotten 2 passes so far in 2 years so should get the 3rd in another year ;) You'll win that one :D That sounds like a euphemism :D ;) Well he will be bringing it I would expect? (Anyone heard that song 'detachable penis' ) Amipie!!!!!! Yes, Valley CBR I'll have two dogs in, figured that I might as well put Jenna in as she was comming anyway. J is undecided on how many she will have in. Will come find you, when I'm not preping dogs, which reminds me I better do some feet trimming before the weekend. Hey Mirrawee, looked at my bank account today and don't see any litters in the near future . Two years with minimal ongoing training and not all trials isn't toooooooooo baaaaddd ;) but not 2 years till end of January which was the first trial she had a handler that knew what they were doing. ;)

Hi TLC, why not try shaping the bow, using food to lure Tully, sit on the floor, hold the hand with the food poking out from under your leg and as the dogs nose goes down draw it back under your leg slightly, be ready with the clicker and reward as soon as the dog assumes the right position or starts to do it(you can always build on that first move in the right direction). If Tully goes to drop be ready to pop your other hand under his/her belly. Don't worry about the command to begin with you just want the action, if you are clicking and treating Tully will offer the behaviour once he/she gets the idea and then you can put it on cue. If I haven't explained it clearly, let me know and I will see if I can video it.

Mmm, knowing how good your dogs are its hard to think of something which you might not have done already, what about YES/NO, blowing bubbles, paint a picture (hey if the government can pay a fortune for bluepoles why not a blue Leo original) or walk with front paws on owners feet(dog between legs, front feet on owners and both walking), ball in the hoop, clear the table(plastic dishes)and stack the dishes. Have you checked Youtube lately, I always manage to find something new there when I run out of ideas.

I will just train both girls at 8.15 instead now They are both trialling dogs. You should have Kyzer up at 8.15 too... particularly as once he gets his final AD pass (wonder if he or Jenna will get there first ) he will be kicked out anyway You can bet it won't be Jenna, I think a certain little 200 dog who hasn't started yet will even beat Jenna ;)

Hey valleyCBR, J and I are going to Bunbury, are we awesome enough?

It's wonderful to come on here and hear the great news, I was starting to worry that the worst had happened. So pleased I'm crying and I don't even know your furkids hope everything else in your lives also starts to take a turn for the better. Hugs to all.

What Would You Do? Job Overseas Vs Dogs
ozjen replied to chichihuahua's topic in General Dog Discussion
If you take emotions out of the equation, your dog may be around for 15+ years while the move may set you up for the rest of your life which will be many times the life of your dog. I don't envy you the decision your faced with as I don't know that I could overcome the emotional side of things to think logically but the fact that your furkid will be in good hands with your parents and you will be able to know how he is getting on may help you decide. Good luck whatever you decide. -
If she fits the 22" weatherbeeta go the 22" then They aren't that loose around the front (I wouldn't want Banjo's any tighter). If needed and it is too big you could always take it in a little bit yourself I am constantly having to put darts in my horses' rugs as they are too loose around the neck Or fly over and try Banjo's on and if that's too big try my Banjo's on you might as well just move here ;) Was actually thinking after I posted that she could try on both Banjos' rugs Oh and not only am I putting up with puppy photos on here- Winpara put up some new photos on her FB page and I WANT A BC NOW too! A BC, Aussie or Kelpie? aussie, aussie, aussie, oi,oi,oi!!!!

Geez, I'm so sorry about the loss of your friend, you guys certainly are having a bad run at the moment. I really hope the dogs pulling through this will be the start of some good stuff happening in your lives, sounds like you are overdue for some positive stuff to happen. Thinking of you all.

We Have Started Bike Riding With Our Dogs
ozjen replied to lanabanana's topic in General Dog Discussion
;) Is it, geez I've biked with my Aussie girl past the police in WA not all that long ago, maybe just as well I've just bought a treadmill. Mind you I also bought a new bike to continue biking her (we pranged the last one so now I have a much smaller one). Given that they give us so few of leash areas and the ones we do get are usually unsuitable being on main roads or overgrown and potholey how are people mean't to exercise big dogs properly. Even on the bike my dog rarely breaks out of a trot and me walking her she practically has to walk backwards as I only take small steps. Just as well she loves the treadmill, I turned it on this morning while she was outside hoping to get some exercise myself and as soon as she heard it she was in like a shot and on it. -
I will take him Nah. after having a Sheltie pup scream for 3 hours straight take a couple of hours break and then start again I'm not in a hurry to repeat the experience, you can keep Paddy as long as I can have cuddles. Wasn't even that the Sheltie was in a new enviroment its just he didn't have his brother any more as he had gone to his new home. I lay in bed thinking how long would it take to drown him if I filled a bucket with water. ;) I'm not good with little sleep and worrying about cranky neighbours.

;) ;) Gee, your blood must be something special!!!

He's probably not quite as big as a Lab puppy but he's sure heavy!! ;) I have put Mason's puppy collar on him as we are going to the puppy classes shortly, he's done nothing but scratch since he's had it on! I guess it's normal when he isn't used to wearing something around his neck ;) Maybe Monday meet up at Tom Lake Cafe? He's a little cutie, Golden Rules can't wait for a cuddle.

I'm so sorry you are facing such an awful situation, I hope and pray that your furkids pull through and that your husbands Grandma is okay too. My thoughts and prayers to you all. Be strong for your babies you don't want them stressing about you being upset they need all their strength to beat the poison if possiable. Sending you cyber hugs.

Rubystar, I don't think the attachmet option comes up with all reply choices ie I think quick reply, as I had that problem once. If it is there it should be at the lower right hand side in the second box, the one under the typing box marked browse, upload(green button).

The cropped files or the ones with you in the frame too? ;) Ummm, lets go with the uncropped and I can see how bad I looked in the ring. I can always crop them again. Thanks.

lol, gorgeous pic emery Good luck with your Llamas, how exciting Alpacas are on my wish list for when I retire to my smallholding lol, that sent Louis running outside barking at the 'intruder' Good luck J - hope you have a great day today Well tomorrow we get the keys to our new rental and finally get all our belongings delivered After 3 months of living out of the 3 bags we brought over on the plane, it will be great to be surrounded by our own furniture again Luckily we have a few days when we have both houses, so we can leave the animals here and move them over to the new one once the removal men are done. I think the dogs will settle pretty quickly, we'll just need ear plugs for Indy as she'll howl for the first few days It will feel more like home once you have all your own stuff around you, have fun moving.
