  1. Cheers for that, i thought it would be best to leave unwrapped, I'm trying to keep her inside today, and quiet, but they're about to burn off over the road, and there is about to be a lot of sirens and action, so we'll see how it goes! I'm hoping it won't get infected, I've put on betadine and she seems to be doing a pretty good job of keeping it clean, but I'll be straight to the vet if it looks dodgy. Cool Im sure she will be fine.
  2. I do know that some dogs are allergic to fish. Have you tried camel? I've heard this was good.
  3. Ok have just read a article that said to wash and make sure that its clean and then put betadine on it. They also said it was best to let it air dry and don't worry about wrapping it. Keep her quite and give the vet a ring if your worried.
  4. They have a wheat base that would not be good for us. But they do sound good
  5. Its not black all over just in some of the bald patches and only in her pores. I haven't made a appointment yet, but will definitely give them a call if it doesn't sort out with the betadine over the weekend. around her Virgina gets a little black and greasy, but it could the black dirt from a spot in the backyard. I have been thinking yeast infection, bacterial infection or the thyroid.
  6. stainless steel and they get washed all the time (and rinsed). She doesn't itch much, I only notice her scratching once or twice a day (that's only short scratches). Theres a bald patch also on here shoulder that's about 10 pc size, not yucky but just dry and bald.
  7. 9 months old, She has been on artemis medium puppy for about 2 -3 months now and gets chicken necks, wings etc. She was doing well the she had a good play with my friends border collie pup (about 4 weeks ago) then her skin got worse.
  8. I've been giving peach monthly advocate so I have ruled out mites. I have noticed in some patches that the pores have a little bit of black and the skin is slightly scaly. She had a couple of pimples (on her belly and around her neck/chin) and some pimples where like blood blisters but I used some betadine and they have gone. The skin around her neck etc is slightly red. Should I use a medicated shampoo and if so which one? Some advice would be great. Thanks. updated

  12. Is it just frozen raw camel and sweet potato? Im slightly excited if it is - I didnt know you could get that from City Farmers! I have wanted to try Camel for my dogs but cant find anywhere close that has it :p I get my camel from a pet supply shop in Oxford Street in Mt Hawthorn. I didn't know City Farmers have it - I'll have to investigate next time I go. Now that rings a bell Its made in mount Hawthorn
  13. Ive chucked the container out but what I can remember it was camel, sweet potato and minerials etc and was made in perth somewhere?? I got it in Mandurah so should think that it would be in perth. I did'nt even look at the price but it came in a takeaway container and I got a few feed from it. Hope this helps :p But I've got a feeling the camel was cooked

Does any one have any other ideas. --------------------

But when we get to school in the morning to drop my children off there is always about 2-4 children waiting to give "peaches" the puppy a pat. I make sure they calmly aproach her and I make sure she is as calm as possible and sitting down!!! but she gets so exicited and trys to role on her back. Am Im doing the right thing ??
