  1. I got my login details, but it seems when I log in, I just see the same page in Firefox? When I used my iphone, I could see more! Anyone experiencing the same problem? I might restart my computer to Windows and check as I use Ubuntu ETA: It seems fine in Firefox and Internet Explorer in Windows 7! Weird!
  2. I wanna read the Gazette! lol I sent an email asking for my password as I haven't got it yet and I thought my email was on their database, obviously it's not on their database! Hopefully tomorrow! I usually always see the gazette online before it come via post!
  3. I also own a compact gazebo and had it and withstood some strong winds after learning from Bilbo_baggins how to secure it into the ground! Best advice I was given and it's to put the pegs on an angle in different directions into the ground! I prefer the smaller ones as we don't have many dogs so we are not needing much space and it fits well into my car!
  4. For Morning Show Group 1, BIG Was Elaine Powell's Pug, RUBIG was the Lowchen (Minor Puppy) Champion In Group and I think it was Australian Bred in Group was both Min Pins (Lisa Prior) Baby was the Papillon Didn't see the afternoon show as it literally poured buckets when the General Specials was happening and some gazebos looked set on intending to fly away! Had to mention, though when I went to this show to watch, I went and pay as we arrived at 9:30ish, and we went in only to be told that the expo doesn't open until 10am and we couldn't go in, despite telling them we came to see the show which started at 9am! ;) They still refused to let us in, but some others rocked up as well to go and watch the shows (They also knew someone with another breed, and we caught up in the end only found that they missed the breed judging). They security eventually backed down after they checked that the show was happening as we told them and let us in! We would've missed the entire morning group show (As General Specials started after 10am but the Group Specials was completed before 10am). I would've thought that if the show started at 9am, that the entry was as well opened! Thought I let everyone know, if you intending to see the show next year, don't pay and go through the main gate! We were advised to go to the car park for exhibitors and show your VCA Membership to get in.
  5. I am not going to Pakenham as I am trialling my Min Pin at KCC! It's unfortunate that both great event are on the same day!
  6. Am not entered, but going to look on Sunday! Going there by train!
  7. Any chance you know who the Italian Greyhound belonged to? It was handled by Adam ( Clovelly ) so I assume it was theirs Thank you!
  8. Any chance you know who the Italian Greyhound belonged to?
  9. Even though I am new, I've added a few show people I knew on facebook and they ended up deleting me eventually! Everytime I found out, I ended up wondering what the heck I have done! But at the end of the day, if thats the way it goes, then so be it :-/. I don't speak very much at the shows, but then again I don't either outside of the shows even at work I don't speak to customers much unless it some that I am happy to talk to and they are friendly as I work in an area where they are plainly rude and uptight! I nearly gave up showing just before the specialties early last year after hearing that some was criticizing my dog for his movement! But my breeder and a couple of friends at the show convinced me to keep going and begrudgingly entered the specialties! Come the United Pinscher specialties, with no hope and dejected that Clancy went Reserve Challenge, that time beating every Champion but one Grand Champion (The Challenge Winner). He was also a Junior in Show that day. I have been told eventually he was apparently a movement judge few months later! ;) 6 Months later, took another In Group award under an International Judge, and got his title just last month! At the end of the day, the Judge is judging your dog in the ring, so it's their opinion that counts on the day, not the ones outside the ring!
  10. Thanks Dellcara and LizT! I never thought I would get his last points by the end of January! But I was hoping for it as he was getting closer and closer!! But the last 40ish point came so quick since his Intermediate in Group win back in November! But he started showing in September 2009 so 16 months of showing and had some impressive wins in that short time including Reserve Challenge and Junior in Show at one Specialty and 2 Class in Group Wins with one being under a Min Pin Specialist! I plan on keep showing him, but I intend to start the focus on his obedience trialling soon!
  11. BIG For Group 1 was the Maltese and RUBIG Was the Bichon. Baby Was Elaine Powell's Pug I know a Chinese Crested got one (Minor I think), a Chi One Short haired (Puppy I think) and One Long haired which was Aus bred and a Pekingese (Junior I think) and a Ruby Cav was Intermediate. Also to add, My Min Pin Clancy today got his last points to become Australian Champion!!
  12. It's your lucky day! I didn't think I had it as mum usually chuck it out a few days after the shows, but unfortunately it's a combined New Years Eve/New Years Day Catalogue, so overall it's 919 dogs for both show. But I refuse to manually count how many dogs overall! It'll probably give me a headache just counting it! XD Hope that helps you though!
  13. They were up to the Papillon when I left at 2:30ish I think! I'd be amazed if they are still judging considering it's nearly 5pm! But there is 260+ Entries for Toys, so it's probably is!
  14. It was the Tibetan Spaniel dog Challenge which was refused. I overheard some of what was said by one exhibitor, in which they confessed to the judge that they knew that one of the dogs had the wrong shaped head. If you know what your dogs faults are and are refused a challenge, then why contest it? It's probably the breed I least expected to be Non-Awarded! I remember last month at a show at KCC, a Tibetan Spaniel bitch was refused a challenge by a SA judge as well.
  15. Possums are holding a B&S ball in my roof, can't sleep so may as well report these for you: BIG Cutler's Maltese Dog from Open RUBIG Kinderscout Knl's Peke Dog (also from Open) BABY: Dwyer's Pug Dog MINOR: Nielsen's Peke Dog PUPPY: Trotter/Albress Pug Dog JUNIOR: Dwyer's Peke Bitch INTER: Hutchison's Bichon Dog AUST. BRED: Walker's Pap Bitch Min Pins I was yakking and didn't mark the cat properly, sorry. No idea dog challenge or BOB, Bitch was Atrill's Aust Bred Bitch, Reserve Attrill's Open Bitch. Run off Baby of Breed was Holloway's Dog (or one of them, Dad on the end of the leash was sooooo chuffed it was was fun to see!!!) Bit of a stir when the Portugese judge no-awarded dog challenge in one Toy breed, there were at least four class winners to choose from, two of whom were titled (Open dog class was two titled European imports, one a GR CH). The judge was well within his rights of course, but some shocked faces around the peanut gallery... :D To my eye, there was similar type and quality in the bitches in that breed, but he awarded challenge and reserve there. Oh well. EF typo Wow! Thanks for the detailed info!! lol Care to spill which Toy Breed it was?
  16. Dunno if it's finished yet, considering it's a big entry for Toy Group, but Group Results please and Min Pins Results as well! Thank you!
  17. I definitely got the Cranny number and the West Gippy as well early this week (On Tuesday I think)!
  18. Please tell it like it is Colleen we can do without the hysterics Lang Lang Showgrounds Dog area this afternoon, doesn't look underwater to me Certainly doesn't look underwater to me either!!!!! Look and behold the sun is out as well! Tomorrow was supposed to be early drizzle to a sunny afternoon! and it's cancelled.......... I saw some photos that Biju has done at one show where the ground looked shocking and it was pouring but it certainly didn't stop the show, what makes Lang Lang any different? It was the one show I was looking forward to
  19. It was absolutely shocking indoors today! The heat inside was unbearable, and when you get outside, it was a lot cooler! My mum noticed at the same time that all the lights were on as well! Probably wasn't even needed! Good thing tomorrow is a lot cooler! :D
  20. Has anyone got their numbers for Yarra Ranges Show? My cheque was cashed but still no numbers.... Liz, according to gazette, Group 1 and 2 are indoors and rest are outdoors
  21. I gotta say watching Group 2 from Yesterday from my gazebo judged by Mr. K Lovell was a lot of fun! I've never seen anything like what he did before! Bringing dogs out and sending them in circles and sending them back several times lol! It must've kept you all on your toes lol! Also bringing dogs out in a small circle to see each other as well (Was it a temperament test? Or checking for something?) Open in Group 2 was an American Staffy
  22. BIG was the Long Coated Chi, RUBIG was the Papillon (Basilika O Rei Pele owned by Pauline Scott ;) ) Pug Best of Breed was Leanne's bitch Lecarne Lady Kane, RUBOB was a male from the Open Class, I think it was called Anyang Maximus Bear (But I can check the catalogue if you need me to). A Pug was also Junior in Group owned by the same person who got the RUBOB. Inter in Group was Cavlier I can't remember the rest of them! :D It was a long day and found both judges in Toys very thorough for the New Years and New Years Day
  23. Group 1/min pins results please? Thanks!!
  24. I don't have a catalogue on me as someone took my copy today!! But BIG was Cav (Weekes) and RU Was Bichon (Monjoi I think) A Pap (Dunno whos!), Lowchen and Pug was shortlisted I know Inter in Group was the Pap that was shortlisted (I think) Hope this helps!
