Hi all, Just a quick question from a soon to be samoyed owner, how do you all pronounce samoyed?. I always thought it was sam oiy ed, but I have read recently that it is actually sam a yed. Thanks

A spider bite can cause the same reaction, especially the tremors. My late husky was bitten by what the vet thought was a red back, she responded very well to a night in hospital on a drip. Hoping your dog is back to it's old self soon

Siberian huskies are with out a doubt, they are extremely independent in their thinking and very smart. The wolf you talk about sounds very much like a husky in it's behaviour.
