  1. No she has been tested for juvenile cellulisis - commonly known as puppy strangles. She was clear.
  2. I am hoping that someone out there is able to help me. I have a 6 month old puppy, and for the last 3 months, we have had all sorts of strange things happening with her. First of all, the hair on the tip of her tail started to fall out, and underneath the skin was scaly and thin. It broke open easily into a sore. Her tail swelled up. Then she started to develpo hair loss around her eyes, and behind her nose. This then continued on to swelling in both areas. Her ears also began to swell and went from erect to down. She was looked at by many vets, who all charged me a fortune and told me what her symptoms were. Like I couldn't see them for myself. She was then treated by another vet who sent a biopsy off and did skin scrapings. The good news was she did not have demedic or juvenile cellulosis, but she had an 'allergy'. Great. She was put onto microlone tabs. The swelling around her eyes and nose have subsided, but yesterday, we found quite a few scaley lumps on her belly and her elbow and under her armpits. They don't seem to be itchy or irritating in any way, but the skin flakes off them when you touch them, and they look as though they could become quite raw. They also look as though the hair aroound them could begin falling out. She is a delightful little dog, not off her food at all, which is holistic select by the way, full of energy and love. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? None of the other dogs I have ever had have ever had anything like this.
