  1. Hi everyone - I haven't given up, I've just been slack with my editing and posting! Here are my 5 days that are owing! 15/01 16/01 17/01 18/01 19/01 20/01 I think this one is called "Secrets can be painful" Does anyone have a special tutorial I can look at to knit photos together like Huga and a few others have done (can't remember who else, sorry) for a 'series'? I've been doing my head in with photoshop/lightroom!
  2. Thanks TLC - I love that first pic of your girl - the tones are lovely!

  4. I can't find the smallies number, but this is the equine number - Chris should be able to transfer you through? I'll keep looking though! (07) 5460 1799 Found it! 07 5460 1788
  5. Thanks Stonebridge - It was nice to meet you yesterday even if I was caught up with the horses! Mia - the little mini pony is going home today and was very hungry for her feeds overnight. The 4 horses that were trapped in their stables and almost drowned are slowly improving so we have our fingers crossed. Poor little Scrappy - anything we can do I think we should Stonebridge - did you ask Bob if we are able to donate directly towards Scrappy's bill (or any other animal for that matter).
  6. Yep - we could do 2 accounts if neccessary Stonebridge - Grant Frazer is the director of both hospitals although yes, they are technically separate. PM me if you want to discuss it further - I can always let you know when I talk to people at both clinics directly what they'd like...
  7. Yep - I can coordinate with Jed if it's easier... we've got 13 horses at the uni clinic presumably a lot of flood survivors. I'm on call Tuesday night so will be busy then... Perhaps donations directly to the UQ clinic would be a good idea? I'm not sure how many of these animals need medical attention (rather than just cleaning up and boarding) but maybe we could start a fund for any that do come in needing attention (horsey or small animal). Let me know what you all think.
  8. Just got an email and the main thing they need at the moment is collars and leads... if anyone has some spares lying around (I know I do) they'd be much appreciated! Stonebridge - feel free to PM me if you want to coordinate anything
  9. Stonebridge - are these animals at the UQ clinic at Gatton? I've just had a call from the girl who's organising the vet student volunteers at the clinic and they have had a TONNE of food donated after a radio appeal today. Ill get onto her to see what they need right now. I'm now going Tuesday so anyone with stuff to donate we can arrange to take it out then if needed.
  10. No worries - I know we're trying to organise foster care in the area (if possible) too for whenever we've got to start getting them out of the hospital. If we could have a little pack to go with each animal that would be really good.. Re horses - Ellie lost 2 of her 7 horses in Postman's Ridge and contacted me saying all her neighbours (and her) supplies were down. I go to uni with the wife of the local ranger so I hope they got supplies through to them. We have got someone who can get through to the 'crime scene' areas though which is very helpful.
  11. Stonebridge I'll be heading out to Gatton probably on Monday. Uni have asked for collars and leads but I'm sure more bedding won't go astray. I can take stuff from Brisbane out there when I go so if anyone would like to donate from this end get in touch with me and we'll work something out. I know many people with horses (and other livestock) are in need of medical supplies like bandages, animalintex etc so if there is any to spare it would be greatly appreciated.
  12. TLC - he absolutely is a goof ball... I had another one with his lips tucked up.... I call it the old man missing his dentures... I probably posted it before but here it is anyway. I almost used this as my week 2 pic but I already have a portrait of him in there so thought I'd mix it up a bit.
