Good luck in your search Sorry I cant help. When I took my boy to frozen puppies to have his semen stored we didnt really need a bitch in season for a teaser. although there were plenty there as they were ai'ing Greyhounds at the time so the smell was in the air. Scott just did his thing on alex and it was all over red rover. maybe another avenue to try over your way is a greyhound kennel -

Skin Problem Maybe Due To Our Yard?
Bullbreedlover replied to Zojambra's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
One scenario could be is that your puppy has a staph skin infection. Another could be an allergy. have you got any wandering jew around. are you sure it is not mozzy bites. just a few suggestions anyway -

LOL. we also call it a snow nose some dogs also just are lacking good pigmentation. not to be confused with a dudley nose which will not be black at all.

In one of the Bullmastiffs books I have, it quotes, "In 1872, the second edition of "The dogs of the British Isles", edited by Stonehenge was published. Here we find a reference to the Gamekeepers Night Dog, by Idstone". Many still believe that this was the origin of the Bullmastiff. "The Mastiff, or a Mastiff crossed with the Bloodhound, is the dog a keeper generally prefers; but the men have their own ideas on the subject, and generally know pretty well where to obtain a promising young dog from each other for a little money. As there is not much demand for them, those keepers who breed them seldom save more than a couple in a litter, and consequently they are for the most part vigorous examples, and large, indeed, power and a certain happy combination of ferocity and intelligence are the chief requisites in a night dog". Also goes further on to say. "few breeds have suffered the same indignity as the Bullmastiff; as in the past, on account of them not being fully established, a few unscrupulous so called fanciers, to suit ends best known to themselves, at one time attempted to improve them (as they thought) and resorted to crossing with their animals the Great Dane, St Bernard, Newfoundland and possibly the Bloodhound to a slight degree. This resulted in a temporary setback for the breed, and had it not been for the loyalty of those fanciers who were determined that no foreign blood should be mixed with that of the Bullmastiff, the breed today would not of been in its present position

Maybe you can let vk2mpj answer the question themselves considering it was addressed to them I was offering my opinon because...I am allowed. You didnt have to reply to me Lots of people offer their opinion even though a question was not directed at them. and you forgot to include the "Maybe" in my quote :D ;) :D :D

One question for you. Why are people who feed BARF/raw referred to as food Nazis? Another question for you.. how do you know these farm dogs are fed Supercoat, and how do you know they are living long healthy lives on it? Have you researched this? Maybe they are referred to as that because they like to "dictate" to people that barf is best. And their attitude comes across as there is no better. That is just my opinion though. vk2mpj didnt say that the farm dogs were all fed supercoat(well that is how I read it) she just said supermarket or non premium kibbles

Love the photo amika Here is my favourite favourite photo Me with Jade(Frenchie),Giggles(Bulldog)and Morgan(Bullmastiff)

Them that know better, seem to think that we should live in a sterile world. Yet everyone here who has posted is so right. Some people in the food industry have no idea on basic hygiene yet they serve us food!!! Oh and I thought that dogs licking plates was all part of doing the dishes.

Is that a slag off on the fact that I have a small drinking problem????????????????????Do you want to take that further??? At least I admit it. At least I am not a bullshitter.
-
You really need to lose the nasty attitude and stop making personal attacks. BL has been extremely civil considering your repeated snipiness. Diet is not just BARF or dry. It is not black and white. I sometimes use a good quality dry too, but prefer to feed human quality natural food when possible. What is wrong with mixing and experimenting? You think we have to stick to one rule when feeding the dogs? Why? Gareth where have I said that you have to stick to one rule???? I have never said that. Why would I when I mix and experiment myself and have always said I do. I dont slag off dry feeding, nor mix nor barf. each to their own But I also dont say one thing, yet do another...... Yep sure my posts may come across as having an attitude. If you or anyone else doesnt like it then that is your problem, not mine Not being rude of course But I dont tell someone one thing while bullshitting to someone else. Can I make it any clearer????

You got that wrong. If I do buy kibble it will be Optimum and it's only to supplement the calorie intake of an extremely thin dog that I have difficulty keeping weight on. He gets puppy kibble to supplement his diet sometimes. When I have it here he gets it about twice a week as an extra meal at the other end of the day to his 2kg of raw food. Otherwise my dogs get it on occassion out of pure convenience when I've been working long hours and haven't gotten to the supermarket. Early last year I scored some 8kg bags of Optimum for $20 each and they lasted about 8 months between three dogs. T bone is 7 and I've been feeding mostly a raw diet since he was 12 months old. Why the hell would I be talking about raw food and promoting it if I had my dogs on an 'Optimum' diet? well geeze louise you either barf feed or you dont. you either mix or you dont. you tell me you are the one that made the topic you either made the switch "several years ago" or you frigging didnt leaves thread shaking ones head and laughs quietly
-

what ever!!!!!! I dont actually give a rats arse what you think. It is all relevant to how much someone knows about dogs. We all started somewhere and we all continue to learn. Judging by your topics you have a long way to go but you come across as if you know it all. By the way Do you really know how many growth hormones are in beef, pork and chicken. do you know what chemicals have been used on the vegetables you use in your barf diet??? These are the same products we eat as well. all natural!!!! I dont think so. To everyone out there.. make up your own minds please. Supermarket food is not all crap

ooohhh the expert has spoken. Good on ya love. Keep up the good work and best of luck with the stinky poo problem eta by the way...just out of curiousity how long have you owned dogs for????? I know people who've owned dogs for 40 years who are terrible and irresponsible owners - how is your question relevant? No stinky poo problem here. :D answer my question and I may tell you why I asked it. Its all about lifes experiences So you know people who have owned dogs for 40 years.... what does that have to do with what I asked?

I think people should be able to make up their own minds without having specific feeding regimes drilled into them. If they want to feed dry they should be able to without the barf people slagging off dry food. If they want to feed a mix of dry and offal, dog roll etc, then they should be able to do so, without people slagging off that alternative. If they want to feed raw, then they should be able to do so without people who feed dry food saying that raw doesnt work or is not nutriently balanced. Lets face it...in the wild, the dog would eat the stomach contents of an animal, which oh my gosh may contain cereals and grains. The dog would also eat the offal. I get sick of the "barf, oh but there is nothing better" people slagging off those who chose to feed a mix or who feed dry. So why dont we all just chill out and act like civil humans who can make our own choices. Because we can.

Their butt holes. really?????? well you learn something new everyday. sorry you have had such a bad experience.
