  1. yep good bone on both. i think i might get some semen stored for future use
  2. :D although we could use him over her in her second litter. I am all for breeding for colour
  3. Does that mean that the puppies will be DD's called Bull Shits? :D No The breeder got it all wrong. They are pedigree purebred Bulldogs Good name though :p ;)
  4. No guarantees, no refunds. You pay ya money you take ya chances :D :p Nup no health testing. I did xray the boy and he came back all good. These dogs are way to healthy to be tested for anything else ;) I dont have any breathing problems with them,
  5. sorry yep I read that bit wrong. Thanks for the update. I appreciate it.
  6. OK I have read all the threads, but maybe I have missed it... Now in no way am I ever supporting a dog that jumps its own fence to attack anything. I dont I never will..but.. The dog jumped the fence to attack a cavvy(poor cavvy). Now the cavvy was ..where????? Doing what????? Was it being walked by its owner??? Hope the cavvy is OK
  7. They had better be best in Show winners I have spent alot of money on these fine examples. They have cost me a fortune in upkeep. Yep I have you down for a puppy. Do you want two? Its more expensive if you only want one. You can get mates rates if you get two from the litter.
  8. Yes I brought him from a backyard breeder at a craft market He is a wonderful example of the breed and as yet I havent had any enquiries for a stud well guess what I found him a mate isnt she beautiful????? She was way cheaper than he was(ooppss still havent even named him) Only $4 Bargin sad thing was her Back Yard breeder thought she was a ShihTzu When will these people get it right. So am taking orders for puppies in the very near future. I have managed to get them both registered.
  9. That video was ssssoooooo cool How awesome Thanks for sharing
  10. Why dont you contact NSW and ask???? In Qld it is 9 months old for any male dog.
  11. 10.5 months. I wasn't at the vets, only know what OH has said (tried to call him and make him put me on speaker phone during the consult, but couldn't get hold of him until they were done.) According to OH, Vet said temp. was slightly elevated but said she didn't seem dehydrated OH says she had a big drink when they got home from the vets, and was drinking before that (but less). She was drinking water this morning and while we were gone (watery vomit), but she hasn't had a big vomit since lunchtime when I came home to check on her, although OH says she did a little one when he got home. I haven't seen her go out to the toilet (I've only been home two hours though, and was only home for 5 minutes at lunch). Since I've been home she's just been lying in the lounge room with us asleep, hasn't been outside. Has she been spayed or is she still entire. Has she had a season recently? Can you monitor her temp yourself? What is her gumcolour like? Nice and pink. Does she show she is in any pain at all when she is awake?
  12. Serket How old is Gypsy?? If things have not improved by the morning then I would be going back for an xray. Did she have a temp? Is she drinking? Going to the toilet normally as such even though she hasnt had much to eat?
  13. In my opinion dont vaccinate her until after she has had babies, if she becomes pregnant. If she has been vaccinated yearly until now she wil be covered until after she has whelped and babies have been weaned.
  14. same x 2 specially when it is posted in the show ring thread
  15. Over many many years we have helped our beautiful furkids to cross over the rainbow bridge. There is never a time when it hasnt been hard. Never a time when I havent shed a bucket load of tears and still do. Even thinking about them now, tears are welling up. We had one Bulldog who died in her sleep during the early hours one morning. She was dad's heart dog and he found her lying by the warm fireplace in the morning. I get very emotional when it comes time to say goodbye. There was a day that I said goodbye to two of my beautiful Bulldogs. One of whom was in for exploratory surgery and I was there through the whole process. Due to her condition I chose not to let her wake up. My life was shattered that day.
  16. Expressions of interest are required from exhibitors/owners of French Bulldogs, interested in becoming involved in the formation of a Queensland French Bulldog Club. The French Bulldog has become very popular in Qld and the breed needs their own Club. If anyone is interested in becoming an inaugural member and or a Committee Member to further the interests of this beautiful breed then please contact me by private email. It is anticipated that if we have enough interest then we can organise an inaugural meeting and establish a Social Club as a first step in becoming a DogsQld Club Debbie Morrison-Teirney Stonebridge Bullmastiffs and Bulldogs Queensland Australia
  17. HMMMMMMMMMMMM very funny! I will see you on Sat as we are over for specialties. We can have our chat then Bugger it all You know I am going to be busy. Yeah I thought it was funny too!! Seriously though am waiting for results.........
  18. I'm really pissed they discontinued the Adventra. we have one love it but it could be for sale to the right person for the right price. 2003 LX8 all the bells and whistles all wheel drive, leather seats, climate air con
  19. 3 Bulldogs from the same litter all lived to 12 and a half years old.All passed away within 2 months of each other were fed Proplan and NZ dog roll. We bred the litter and the dog we retained had his last vaccination at 3 years old from what I remember.
  20. I would love the woman police officers job.
  21. Very good post I always like to have my exhibits settle by moving around the ring then I get each exhibitor to stack their dog before I go over them because I like to get an overall picture first then do a hands on. I have had judges pounce on my dogs straight away which I dont like and my dogs dont like. One judge with the Bullmastiff breed judging one day unsettled all the exhibits. My boy doesnt pull away from any judge and stands quietly but not this day. There must of been something about this judge because he pulled away right from the start. My boy got told to settle but when the judge went over my older girl she pulled away as well and was very unsettled with the judge. We didnt win that day and I didnt like how he examined the exhibits. At a show many years ago back in NZ the Bulldog judge at an AB show was quite rough with the male dogs, making sure he examined the testicles in a rough way. No one was happy about that
  22. very true what works with one dog may not work for another. I can bait my older boy in the ring to keep him in focus when stacked in the group but there is no way I can show food to my young bitch who is so food driven that she becomes silly. Then again she is only young and learning the ropes. I always encourage my dogs in the ring and always praise them whether we win or lose.
