yep my thoughts exactly.

Reasons for it still being an issue could be that the dog is a badly bred x breed and no care has been taken by the breeder to check for any health issues with either parent. I would think a complete check up with your vet will confirm if there are any problems with the teething or if it is something else. "I am interested in how you go about basing your thoughts on this please" Every single puppy will teeth in its own way no matter how they are bred or from whom they are bred. what do you mean by health issues with either parent??? and no I wouldnt trust all vets on giving a correct diagnosis. alot of them stuff it up

OK I might be way off with my post here but when we got this sticker print done for the hardlid on our ute we had to get the resolution up from about 3MB up to about 7MB from memory to be able to scan this big and keep it clear. We did the artwork but got a specialist printer place to make it a bit bigger. They then printed it for us. It was less stress getting them to do it.

Bullbreedlover replied to Stitch's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
My Multi best of breed, reserve Best in Specialty Show winner is being fed........ (His latest best of breed win and 14 point cc was only yesterday. Tomorrow he turns 7 years old) . . . . . . . wait for it . . . supercoat OMG someone call the authorities he does also get cheese, raw chicken mince, sardines -
One of our show Bulldogs ruptured a cruciate. He was operated on by one of the most awesome vets I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and working with. Absolutely and completely recovered after complete rest. The way the surgery was done was great and the operating scar was on the inside of the dogs leg. And yes even though it was nearly 10 years ago the cost then was around $400.00.

What are some of the do's and don'ts for a brachy breed like the British Bulldog that you don't get in other dogs? Dont ever say that you are going to own just one Because once you own one then you will want to love another. On my way to work shortly. Will have time this evening to post a few bits and pieces but if anyone else would like to contibute in the meantime.....

Is An American Staffordshire Terrier A Pitbull?
Bullbreedlover replied to jackie_a1's topic in General Dog Discussion
Same breed different purpose but still only one standard to breed to. Exactly like the Kelpie where there are show kelpies and working kelpies. OK so the farmer doesnt give a rats arse about the Kennel Club standard per se but alot of people perseve them as being different dogs. They are not. They are one in the same or so they should be. Not meaning to highjack the thread but I am totally aghast sometimes in regards to the Kelpie standard. The standard calls for a ruff aroud the neck and a brush tail. totally essential for the Kelpie in the outback and regions of NZ for keeping themselves warm. Yet in many many Kelpies both working and show there is very very little ruff or brush tail Anyways back on topic now -
I know of them I have never had the displeasure in meeting them. Their reply was only asking about how the Bullmastiff Club was going. I never replied back. People like that just disgust me. Like the people I saw at Frozen puppies one day. I said to the guy there that I saw the two Bullies out the back and one looked quite high in leg(only saw them from a distance). he said as a matter of fact that one was a Aussie bulldog and one was a Bulldog and they were there for the bitch to be AI'd.

Oh yeah, I've lost count of the number of people who tell me I've been ripped off because their brother/uncle/friend owns a "real" bullmastiff. More is the pity when a specific breeder of Bullmastiffs went into crossbreeding and then Aussie bulldogs. Their latest on Gumtree awhile ago was Neo x Bulldogs. Yep I emailed them. Pretty sure I knew who it was and yep they replied back. They knew it was me of course with my email addy. It just confirmed what I thought.

I shall vote yes after information received from an AmStaff breeder who pretty much outlined what has been said in a few posts. Technically they are one and the same. -
Yep but you have to remember it was the UK. I agree bsl is a load of crap. And the owner wasnt helping the situation. Looked like a very nice boy. Shame

Hello I Am Don Burke, Yeah Right!
Bullbreedlover replied to Wazzat Xolo's topic in General Dog Discussion
he probably has a super shed too to match the fact that he is a super tool. he is the dick responsible in part for the Aussie Bulldog. -
I would seriously consider a thyroid test. A vet should not talk you out of it. Now I know there are extensive studies being done on overactive and underactive thyroids. I believe Jean Dodds is one of the experts on this. She advocates treatment even if the results are in the normal range but pushing towards the high or low level. Have you googled thyroid tests on dogs?

So are you saying if a national is held in Melbourne and I wish to travel to Geelong (example only) to an All breeds show I can still get a challenge?? I think NOT. My oath I'm saying it. Why should you or I be told where we can show our dogs and not receive challenges. I call it discrimination. If you want to go to a National with your dog, good on you for going and I hope you win BIS, but those that do not wish to go, or can not afford to go, or think it is to far for them to drive, should not be penalized for wanting to go to a show elsewhere and receive a challenge. I support your views Oakway And add.. what if the exhibitor simply doesnt want to enter under that particular judge whom is judging the National show for what ever reason. Not everyone wants to enter under a particular judge

Looks like he does have some ingrowing hairs which need removing from his pads. Take as many out as you can with tweezers. if you give the skin a gentle squeeze more that have ingrown may pop out. I would also be treating his wet wounds with curash powder. Sorry I cant remember seeing your thread a little while ago.

To me it looks like wet eczema and infected hair follicles. Ok so the vet said allergies. Food or topical??
