By AVA. There may be others scored that are not showing in the stats. For example the same AVA stats show 3 Pyreneans as being scored in that whole period. There are definitely more than that that have been done in that period that I know even just personally (10 at least without sitting to add them up). They were done directly by Wyburn though and not through AVA. oh of course. not everyone goes through AVA. so therefore the results do not reflect a true and accurate score nation wide(looking at it in the bigger picture)

What Makes A Show/s Popular With You?
Bullbreedlover replied to poodlefan's topic in General Dog Discussion
All of the above sounds good to me so far That would be in an ideal world though. Actually my parents and I were on the Committee of a Club that was also in that ideal world and ticked all of the above boxes. -
© I give permission for the results of the examination to be used at a future date for the purposes of statistical research which will be published and for use by the ANKC on the internet. Yes q No q It is optional here in Aus Oh, strange. I wonder why someone would tick "no", if it's anonymous (it is, right?) Well the statistical information is anonymous(or it is suppose to be) but all the details of the dog are on the form submitted. I guess it comes down to individual choice and whether or not you WANT your dogs score to be part of the national database. Some do. some dont.

That is what it said. I just copied it. I am sure lots more dogs were xrayed, but the films were not sent in to be scored. This is why averages or any of these rating systems are not really accurte for assessing the breed. Most experts think you can double the number of affected dogs and still might be less than the real number. I know there would of been lots more xrayed. Its not that they wouldnt of been scored. It is that they would not of had the results published to the vet assoc

Well, it will all depend on how many dogs and bitches get scored for 2011. We are only just in April so they wont have an average available. Breeding practices vary from breeder to breeder. NZ publishes average scores For 2010 the reults were Bullmastiff 190 scored Average 20.8 Elbows Bullmastiff 110 scored 24 accredited 51 were grade 1 27 were grade 2 8 were grade 3

oh so I am assuming your breed entry made up to 18 as well???? either way your cert should show the correct points
-
If you in BOG at a show then you get 5 points plus one point for each dog and bitch six months and over exhibited for the group. Points shall not accumulate for BOB BOG and BIS as the total maximum points allowed at any one show is 25 points If there is only a small entry then you get a point for each dog/bitch shown as well. If that amounts to 24 points then so be it. The BOG certificate will show how many points you have been awarded

OK slight difference in size between a French Bulldog and a Shepherd but it was recommended to use a tampon for French Bulldogs when taping or glueing ears. Adjust to something accordingly for a bigger dog. Shaped peices of dowling maybe to hold the ears up hhhmmm 6 months old. I wish you luck. Should of been done quite awhile ago. Do you not think the cartledge might be set now. Well there is always hope.

any NS results to hand Miss B?
-
I think we are going for a blast on the bike on saturday but if I sweet talk OH we may end up there for awhile weather permitting of course. I got the flu/cold. I feel horrible. Had a really good day though. The Bullmastiff entry was only 2 which is quite pityful really.

Thanks eveyone. I am pretty stoked. Not a happy camper at the moment though with my entry. My chq has been cashed but i havent received my pass or number in the mail. am 99.99% positive I sent a return envelope will sort it out

There will be a big marque placed in the middle of two rings. Well that is how it has been for the past three years :D If they clash there will be someone there to help. Parking and space will be oh so wonderful. NOT I had a look see the other day when I was dropping off my art work and at that stage there will stillboulders in the top ring space(not where the Royal judging will be) and the grass was 6 foot long there as well. whether or not that part is mowed I have no idea.
-
Just found out that two of my pieces of art I submitted in the Royal were placed in the show. A Bullmastiff pastel portrait of my furkids placed second in the Fine Arts section I entered and my carved leather picture of my furkids was awarded a first in the Leather section I entered woo hoo

What does the dog news thing say and what is being said on ozshow. Not very helpful to tell us something is being said but not a hint of what it is for those of us who dont see either What did you reply say Sorry but I am not putting the article on here(except for the part below) nor the response I received. DNA does say that the RNA were not consulted about the Ballot which took place and that the future direction of the CCCQ should be determined by the members, not the Committee or the RNA.
-
Check out the Feb Dog News Australia. Interesting article. The reply I got from DogsQld (in regards to the questions I asked re the ballot) were somewhat "clinical" to say the least. Well I suppose to expect anything more would of been a bonus. There have also been a few posts on ozshow if you are a member.

Pony Draggers Avoid Jail
Bullbreedlover replied to MolassesLass's topic in Dog Cruelty and Abuse News
I heard this on the news this avo and I was disgusted at their smack on the hand sentence. Pathetic. -
Miss Maddy I would be very worried about the risk of pyometra. Please get a white blood cell count done as soon as possible to rule out this factor. If you would like any more advice on this do not hesitate to personal message me. Best case scenario is that it is not pyo.
