  1. I was thinking of one that was a pull on one piece because I thought there would be less chance of him trying to pull it off. oh ok. I have the simplicity pattern #3939 which isn't too hard to follow. I bought it through ebay Did manage to make Maggie one last year. The best thing with the polar fleece is that is doesn't fray That looks so cute .....I did come across the Simplicity 3939 when googling and had made a note to check that one out.

  4. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a sewing pattern to make a Polar Fleece coat for a large dog.
  5. I am looking for a list of foods that are safe and unsafe for dogs. Every time I'm not sure of a particular food I have to google it to find out if it is safe. So I thought if I could find a good list I can then print it out and stick it inside a kitchen cupboard for quick reference.
  6. Just wondering if there is anything other than the Stuff 'n' Paste and Kong treats that can be used in a Kong. What do others put in their Kongs?
  7. Does any one have any suggestions on how to deter a large puppy from digging and scratching at a garden that is covered with bark? If we catch him going near it we usually growl at him and tell him no and he walks off. But we can't be watching him every single minute so he makes the most of that and sneaks onto it and digs at it. I had sprayed it with D-Ter, but this has not worked so any "tried and true" methods would be welcome.
  8. We have had our puppy for two weeks now and are going reasonably well with the toilet training. Not many accidents inside (only when locked in the crate). He is taken outside very regularly to do 'wee wee's'. Sometimes it takes about half an hour before he produces and we always praise him. However he seems to want to do it on the concrete paths whenever he can. If we catch him on the concrete we tell him "no" and move him onto the grass. But I can guarantee that if I come inside for a quick minute to grab something that when I go back outside he has left a puddle on the concrete right outside the back door. I have scrubbed it all down with bleach and then rinsed it with water and vinegar as suggested on some websites, but it has not deterred him. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about stopping this problem?
