Well there is a many a dog around her, getting around on more than a 1 metre lead!!! I had no idea, what a load of rubbish i reckon
-
All Breeds Boarding kennels have some nice leather leads that are about 1 metre in length (I could check for you). I don't use them for general obedience training, as I like more room/length to work with. The price on theirs is $26.00 I think. I could check that for you as well, if you are interested. Brown leather. Brass snaphook. Stitched, if I remember rightly. I see you are within the Shire of Mornington. Have you been informed that you must have a 1 metre lead for trialling, or have you been informed that the Mornington Shire Council have brought in a law where there is a maximum lead length (regardless of what you are doing) of 1 metre. Silly law, IMO, made up to try to regulate stupidity. I have a very nice, soft, black one left from my leather stock as well. It is a bit shorter than I usually have, not sure if it is not a bit more than 1 metre though - I'd need to go re-check. Feel free to contact me if you'd like info on either. First of all thank you for everyones feedback and pm's. It was a person that trials at my obedience club that told me my lead was too long for trialling. I want to have the right gear when moving up through the classes thats all. Mind you it might only be 1.5 at the most i am guessing. Its good for short recalls and general lead work, as it gives me room when i praise her, for her to go crazy as a boxer would! thanks again, wil try the club, as i want to support it firstly then. If not will look into the suggestions from here. Thanks scout

Thank you! I'll try Ashley. I've tried contacting Lea. I've left messages but haven't heard back from her? I too am waiting for a call back. i left a message. Maybe we should try AR. It says near KCC. So does that mean its not held on their grounds? scout -

Does anyone know where i can source a concrete statue for a friend who has recently lost two family members. I am after a concrete one. Maybe life size or scales down by 50%. Size wise/breed is a german sheperd. Location is in Victoria- Mornington Peninsula. I have not had any luck so far thanks Scout

Thanks guys, no it was not my baby. But a close friend. It had been over two days he was given some tamol. As that medication was at home already. And spoke to vet over phone. I don't think she saw it happen. So i am not 100% sure how it came about. She has done everything for this dog (stem cell injections for other problems) But she nor i had ever seen this. She did say he had heat and swelling and that went down over night. But he did soil himself so there was nothing in the back end. Dog being only 8 and just previously lost another baby 3 weeks before, this has hit her hard. (he was put down) I have really no more to add, but i hope i never have to deal with this. Scout Thanks again guys Great news for you cavv! You should be over the moon with his recovery

If you go to the vet with your dog that has been lying for 2 days ( he can not get up) and he says your dog has prolasped discs(2) And more on their way out. Can he really feel them on their way out? And do you operate or put down? Is prolasped discs caused from bad breeding? Breed is German Shepard cheers

Think i will be buying Troy aswell now thanks for the heads-up guys Scout
-
?? According to the label on the bottle the Troy product has 22 mg/mL calcium in the form of Calcium Glubionate and Calcium Lactobionate. I don't have a Sandoz bottle handy, but I compared them in the store and I'm pretty sure the active ingredients were the same. thanks! going by the web info there was no "actual" mg/ml. thats why i have questioned it. Must now go back and look at the recored level on the label of the sandoz bottle thanks mate
-
TROY is now putting out a calcium syrup that is chemically very similar to the Sandoz product . . . half the price at our local pets and gardens shop (~$30/litre). do you what it is going to be called? H Scout - its called Troy Calcium syrup for dogs and cats - have used this and Sandoz and not noticed any difference and the Troy is cheaper. Yeah, but this troy product does not have any ingredient info compared to the Sandoz calcium syrup
