Men are strange beast aren't they :rofl: After all these years I still haven't figured mine out. Dogs are far easier lol The other thing that is funny is that OH is old school, off a farm and got dogs from where ever and didn't want me to spend "ALL THAT MONEY" on another purebred. But now pup is ordered has not once asked how much he is costing. Mind you I kept telling him his ridgeback was not $2 give away ( I bought ridgeback for OH) and he says "oh but Boofs special :laugh: I'm not sure he quite understand how "special" Boof is ROFL if Boof was a human he certainly wouldn't be a brain surgeon or even an accountant. I'm so excited that I get to join this thread We had no plans on a pup for a long time but our Terrier cross was run over 2 months ago. (Unfortunate accident on our own property) OH said he wasn't ready BUTTTTT as you do I decided it was time (and the fact that our Ridgeback boy is so lonely and sad) So I started the phone calls and have found a breeder who has a pup that is potentially good enough for the show ring Although if he turns out to not be we will still be taking him :-) He is a Jack Russell broken to rough coat and rather gorgeous. OH has decided to call him Russell which I can't say I love but considering 2 weeks ago he was adamant that we were not getting a pup, I can't really complain lol Pup is staying with the breeder until he is 12 weeks old as she wants to run him on a little bit longer and it's killing me lol. He is 8 weeks old now so I'm just itching to get him home. Have been furiously googling how to strip coats and buying puppy pens lol Cheers Janet

Jj I had a clean out of my tank today and bagged up that plant for you got in the car drove into town drove home and here it still is sitting here on the bench DOH I will Try and remember to bring it in tomorrow lpl

Tanya she is gorgeous (cant find the right emoticon on my Phone lol) Just spoke to breeder and made the decision that "Russell" aka Zamora (pedigree name) is ours :-) even if she decides he not good enough for the ring. She is going to run him on till around 12 weeks but I am Going for a binding date hopefully on the 15 th of this month. :-D She's a but like me with the name lol I did mention to OH that it's a very common name for a Jack Russell Terrier and that has made him have a bit of a rethink lol Cheers Janet

Home phones on here but still no Internet. Lucky for the iPhone or I would be totally stuffed lol My news issssss I have a photo and an approx date that we may be getting our new pup. He will be 12 weeks old as the breeder would rather keep him a little longer and make sure he is going to be good enough for showin he is 7 weeks ATM Works out well for me as I don't finish work till the 21 st so will be free when/if he comes to live with us. OH has gone from "not ready for another bloody dog" to coming up with all these horrid names for the new pup lol And tonight discussing how the dog run set up will have to be modified to keep the monster dog and pup separated yet together until pup is a little large in size. As we want them to bond but Boof is so large and pup will be so small not willing to leave them alone together I have a photo now and he is rather cute :-) WHat an awesome day just live this heat bring on summer :-( Cheers Janet

It seems that I'm not receiving the notifications for here so I forget to come and see what everyone is up too lol. Have started thinking about another dog but as most of you would have read on FB I'm unsure as to what breed. I think the OH wants a Jack to replace Sniffy but I'm not so sure lol Hey Barb, Laura's puppy is gorgeous I just want to smoosh him lol Jess how exciting, what color is your new baby ? Thanks Linda its been 10 days and we are still having a cry . The place is so quiet without him hard to believe such a little dog had such a huge impact. Going to miss the little brat today we are out planting trees and he certainly would have had great fun annoying us to throw the ball for him by dropping it in the holes dug for the trees and generally being a pest :cry: Boof is slowly feeling better and not missing him as much, I think spending every arvo and night inside with us has certainly helped him. Tanya that's a gorgeous pic lol how funny :laugh:

Thanks Jess belly rub was gratefully received :) Poor Boof is in the wars. Now he has split his nail (again) and is very sore. This will be the 4th time it's happened so thinking it may be time to have the rotten thing removed once and for all. This is what the vet talked about last time if it was an ongoing problem. Will give him a few days to see how it goes its currently bandaged up and he is on antibiotics so fingers crossed he will be fine. Cheers Janet

Thanks Tanya he loved his fur dates too. Especially around Albert Park. Boof has a monsters size bone that he is chewing every now and then between running from the spot where Sniff was hit to where he is buried and coming in for cuddles. He likes to have us insight at all time and isn't going far from the house. He says big slobbery kisses as a THANKYOU for all your well wishes.

Yep had already thought about some rescue remedy. Most of the chemists sell it now so I will get some today and OH is going to try and finish work early and take Boofy for a drive and spend some time with him :D And now talking about how we can't leave him alone in the dog run all day long while we are at work........ It will settle.

Thanks Tlc :) I appreciate it. I think the only one in the house that has slept is the child OH and I spent most of the night talking and crying, last time I had looked at the clock it was about 4.30 and Boofy was still crying as well. Will go to the vets today and see how much damage that will be, not that we care as we had told them to do what ever it takes to keep him alive but some things are just not mention to be. Will go and buy a big bone for Boof today as a treat to try and take his mind off things a bit. Janet

Oh my that's just like marshmallows on legs :D :D :D Where do I put my order in for one of him please ???? I had a mini a million years ago but he was never as gorgeous as that like hunk of spunk ( but I did get him as a 4 year old lol and he was still pretty cute) Love his coloring and his mum is pretty too.
