Oh Jess I wish I knew you were there we could have had a Bowie, Russell meet up. Spent the day at the show had a great time. Spoke to a few people about Russell show prospects and all said he was show able. One in particular that is a terrier judge. Have written to breeder and told her and will see what her reply is. She had said yesterday he was looking good so fingers crossed. Went out for dinner and picked up a few total strangers along the way as we do and what a great night Cheers Janet

Awwwww the excitement of waiting lol I hated every minute of waiting and I only had to wait about 5 weeks not like some people who have to order a pup and hope the bitch come into season and the mating is successful lol I would be NO good at that. Russell has settled in well and he is such a great little guy. He sits drops and crawls so far and puppy school trainers and very impressed with him. He is one of those pups that's just wants to please. Our other terrier that passed away so didn't care what you wanted it was all about him and he was bloody hard work. So this is a dream so far. Colliechaos that puppy is Devine !!! Jules and sujo not long now. (I'm sure I've missed someone but I'm on my phone and can't see) ROFL @ Ellis I agree I would be sleeping on the floor might be easier to pup the crate on the bed (joke) Cheers Janet

Brown, liver or tri color (I so want a Bernese mountain dog) I really generally dislike brindles but that pup of Tdierikx is just gorgeous

They are all just so gorgeous. I mean really who's ever seen a really ugly puppy lol I just want to cuddle them all. Jules not long to go now bet your super excited My little boy is going great guns and is such a little character. So far he is so much easier to train than my last dog and has his sit and drop down pretty well. Having a few dramas with our other dog but fingers crossed with a bit more work they will sort it out. Wow looks like you had an awesome day Russell appears to have settled in well. He is a funny hilarious chilled out little guy. Poor Boof isn't too sure what to make of him as Russell keeps attacking and play bowing and then rolling over onto his back. Lol He looks like a kitten when he plays lol he chases things and bounces around and loves to follow you every where, and am I mighty glad I purchased a puppy pen (well 2 actually lol) Last night I put him to bed in the garage turned off the light and didn't hear another thing until I let him out first thing this morning Who can complain about that !!!! Have just put him to bed now turned off light and so far it's quiet. Fingers crossed he sleeps again all night. Only time Boof has had a grumble is when Russell was in his crate beside Boofs bed in the lounge and having a sook. Each time we have put him there Boof has growled but I'm sure he will adjust. He's is actually pretty much ignoring Russell which is what I want as I want him more human focused than other dog focused lol (does that sentence even make sense ?) Ok I'd better go last 2 days of work for the year then 6 weeks holidays woohoo. I really love my job but I sure do love my holidays too. Chicken my heart goes out to you and I do understand how you feel We lost one of our dogs only a couple of months ago he was a terrier cross (it was an accident) and our Ridgie boy was and is still sad. But on the day what we think helped a lot is what Pers has recommended we took his little body down to the dog run as soon as we got home from the vets. The big fella just knew he was gone. As soon as we started carrying Sniffy down to the run the big fella just started to howl and cry and it was almost like a scream. We lay Sniffy on the ground and let Boof out to sniff him he lay down beside him and just cried he them did the nose push to get him to move After a while we took Sniffys body to where we had decided to bury him and dug the hole. Boof watched all of this while lying beside the Sniffys body. . Once Sniffy was buried we walked away but Boof just sat at the grave site and cried and cried and cried.. He often now still goes and sits up there. But I'm positive it helped that he knew that his little mate was dead not just gone....... We kept the same routine apart from having him inside a lot more and gave lots of cuddles. He doesn't do the zomies that he used to do as he doesn't have Sniffy to do,them with so I try and get him going a bit by chasing him around and he loves it for about 2 min then has had enough. OH has taken to taking Boof with him everywhere whenever he leaves the property (apart from work) But we are getting a new puppy tomorrow (had to be a terrier in memory of Sniffy) and hope it will bring a bit of his old spark back. Hugs to you and your Rotti. You def did the right thing. We also got some rescue remedy but tried to keep,life as it was going to be from now on as we didn't want to get him into a new routine with out Sniffy and then change it again just because time had moved on. Find out def tomorrow about wether the pick up will happen this weekend or not. Fingers crossed everyone e please :-) Not far to travel breeder is meeting us in Colac so all good there. Have puppy pen all setup just went shopping and got a dog bed for his kennel and a nice new water bowl. Just had our business's Christmas party at Alex's and as full as a fool lol Jess can't wait to have puppy play dates and if Bowie goes missing Sony look for him at my house lol he is just gorgeous Ok bed for me before I fall asleep at the iPhone lol. Oh Jules I :love: the tri color. They would have to be my favorite color for the cavs but that might have something to do with the fact that my dream dog is a Berner (I will own one, one day) And no excuses either lol expect you in here updating especially when you bring him/her home (I've got everything crossed for you) Zenith hope you realize that we will now expect pics by Friday evening. No excuses either lol Gotta love those GSP pups all ears and feet. OH has just informed me he finishes work on Friday and then has 3 weeks off (a week earlier than usual, wonder if that's got anything to do with a new arrival here on Sunday) So I'm going to have to fight him for the pup and he gets a weeks head start on me as I don't start holidays till next Friday. Might have to throw a couple of sickies won't have much to do anyway as all the kids finish up on Wednesday. Cheers Janet

OH just asked me what I wanted for Christmas I replied Umm Im getting him on Sunday LOL he says NO he is a family dog (HEHEHE I got news for him and its all bad LOL)Well he will; be family dog BUT one that Im going to do lots with. It's so silly that I'm impatient to get to Sunday and I have only known about him for a few weeks now. I'm not sure I could wait months Cheers Janet

This is my new litle boy who should be coming to live with me on Sunday Breeder has decided that he may not be quite good enough for the ring so shes happy for him to come and live with us sooner than expected. Now to just find a name for him that isnt Russell........ I like Fergus or Tobi but I havent put them to the OH yet LOL Mind you I know he will want to stick with Russell Cheers Janet
