I would get him a large size dog house with a quilted or mink blanket. Yes it's nice to see them sprawled out, but in winter they curl up in a ball anyway to keep warm. They just sprawl in hot weather not necessarily needing a dog house then. It is lovely of you to be so thoughtful

You are exactly correct like others in saying that she should have had control of her dog. I also have a dog that can be D.A and it isn't easy when everyones else thinks it's ok to allow their pooches to bolt up & say hi.. Photos pleeeeease of the sinking paddlers

DD's are generally bred only for "CUTSY" appeal they are not just cute as pups, but you are pretty much guaranteed that they will be cute as adults also, whereas our breeds of choice have been bred for a particular reason. Unfortunately it is people that only have an interest in cute that don't investigate things properly or purchase on impulse who buy the DD's. To answer your question "NO" I don't think that we are in danger of losing our breeds to DD's because us educated people will continue to educate the uneducated and so the cycle will continue. Many would only ever purchase a purebred for their desired personality traits and physical appeal which is what will keep these breeds alive no matter what happens to society.

More to this than meets the eye I would say, something seems a miss here. Whats a 20yr old man doing with a 16yr old anyway. It is possible she was 15yrs when falling pregnant. If a 20yr old wanted to date our 16yr old daughter my OH would kill him? Poor baby. Another helpless victim due to human stupidity RIP little one.

I live near a bat colony & there are signs up that clearly state "If you are scratched or bitten by a bat seek immediate medical attention" I would certainly be seeking immediate vet attention if the dog was bitten or scratched. They carry diseases and I've heard that one of those diseases is rabies.

I can truly see where you are coming from acb123. Pet shop puppies look even more beautiful to us knowledgable dog lovers because we understand the misery behind the lovely window puppy. I won't even look in a petshop window so as not to attract other onlookers. I can see lovely babies through the corner of my eye, but I will not partake in any way for the sale of these babies and I will not purchase anything from a petshop that supplies babies.

Not a chance.... Don't do it...... I know the puppy is beautiful & sweet & cute and all that, but it isn't worth the price that will be payed by the following puppies lives. We must put a stop to petshop babies it is abuse and we musn't support it.

Well I just told my OH about this and he said some lingerie & a nice dinner would definately do the trick Its a great way to say "I'm Sorry" Once he's accepted that offer there is no going back

Maybe the boy thought it would be best to stay and help his dog not leaving it alone to get killed. Lucky the boy didn't get attacked or bitten himself.

Ohhhhh that irresponsible mother how dare she leave her baby alone on the floor with two dogs. She should be charged with neglect. That poor poor baby.
